HTML Tutorial 15 - Creating HTML Forms

13:54
In this tutorial, we talk about how to create forms in HTML, where users can input data. We also talk about how the data is sent to an external webpage or script, which can then take and use the data from the HTML form. Some of the things we mention in this tutorial are how to input text using the "input" tag and the "type" attribute, which creates a text box and how to input a password into a textbox, without having to worry about whether or not someone is looking at the screen! We also talk about "submit" buttons, as well as some other things related to HTML forms! And, yes, I do know about the spelling error in the tutorial! ;) Thank you for watching! HTML Tutorial 16 - Radio Buttons and Checkboxes (Forms)

15:30
In this tutorial, we continue to talk about creating HTML forms, but in addition to talking about textboxes and submit buttons, this tutorial covers how to add radio buttons and checkboxes to a form. Radio buttons can be useful for when a user is only allowed to select one option from a list of items, while checkboxes can be used to allow users to select multiple (or no) items from a list of them. In order to add radio buttons and checkboxes to our webpages, we can still use the "input" tag and the "type" attribute, but instead of using a type of "text" or "password", we can use either "radio" or "checkbox" to create radio buttons or checkboxes. 08:17
In this tutorial, we talk about "ID selectors" in CSS, and how they can be used to style one particular element, which we can assign an ID to, by using the "id" attribute of an HTML element. ID selectors are useful for styling one particular element, rather than every element on the page, like you could do with the "element selector". CSS Tutorial 2 - Selectors (Element Selectors)

07:37
In this tutorial, we talk about how to actually use CSS to change the look and style of elements within our HTML webpages, which we can do using selectors. In particular, this video talks about how to use the "element selector" in CSS, what is is, and what it is useful for. The element selector is useful for when you would like to select and style every element of a particular type on a webpage. For example, if you would like to style every paragraph element on a website, you could create a CSS rule for the paragraph element, and then style it however you like. Doing so would change the look of every paragraph element on the webpage where the CSS is being used or included. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to contact me! CSS Tutorial 5 - External Stylesheets

11:42
In this CSS tutorial, we talk about external stylesheets and how they can be used to style an HTML document, while at the same time, keeping our HTML and CSS code separate, as we write our CSS code in a separate (external) file and then include it within our HTML document's "head" tags. By using external stylesheets, we can keep our code more organized and "cleaner". Also, another added benefit of external stylesheets is that, should we have more than one webpage that we'd like to style with similar styles, all we need to do is include one, single stylesheet in all of the pages we'd like to style. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below! Thank you for watching! HTML Tutorial 17 - Drop Down Menus and Text Areas

14:25
Continuing on with HTML forms, in this tutorial we talk about how to add drop down, or selection, menus to our webpages, as well as how to add text areas, which are different than a standard textbox. A drop-down, or selection, menu allows users to choose a value, that is an option in the menu. In our example, we create an e-mail form, where users can use a selection menu to choose a person to send an e-mail to. A text area is different than a textbox created with the "input" tag and text "type", as it can be larger and also enables users to add attributes to it. Additionally, a text area is made up of its own opening and closing tags, and anything between these two tags is included within the text area box. Thank you for watching! HTML Tutorial 18 - Tables

We also talk about how to add borders to our tables, so that they are better "defined", and so that the data is easier to see in an organized fashion. Also, in this video, I mentioned that I didn't know what the "td" tag stood for. I later found out that it stands for "table data", so my apologies for not knowing when recording this video!
