From Oscar de la Renta to Chanel, here are some of the most lavish and prestigious fashion brands. Subscribe to Hindered Thoughts http://goo.gl/d3U3RP 6. Chanel The high fashion wear company was introduced to the world back in 1909 by none other than Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, otherwise known as “Coco Chanel.” This is where the brand gets its inspiration for the famously recognizable logo that is two interlocking C’s. The company specializes in creating haute couture for its wealthy clients but also for fashion models like Naomi Campbell, who once modeled for them, and actresses Marilyn Monroe, Keira Knightley, and Nicole Kidman. One of their most famous products is the perfume No. 5 de Chanel, along with the Chanel Suit. Today, Chanel is valued at being $6.8 billion dollars. An interesting fact to note is that Karl Lagerfeld, the creative director behind Fendi, happens to be the creative director for Chanel as well. 5. Prada Founded back in 1913 by Mario Prada, this fashion brand actually started out by manufacturing leather bags and trunks. It would then evolve into selling everything from clothing to perfume and even a brief stint of LG Prada cell phones. Though the brand may have broadened its inventory, it still spends the majority of its focus creating some of the world’s most exclusive handbags that only the rich and famous can possibly hope to afford. Mario Prada believed that women should not be involved in business so he excluded his own family members from getting involved. In a fantastic twist of irony, his son did not care to run the business so his daughter Luisa Prada took over as his successor and is now currently being run by her daughter Miuccia. 4. House of Versace The fashion empire that is the House of Versace all started with fashion designer Gianni Versace back in 1978. He created a brand that has been synonymous with elegance and simply oozes high fashion. His glamorous gowns have gone on to make a name for himself as a respected designer. Like the case of the famous black dress held with gold safety pins that actress Elizabeth Hurley wore back in 1994 to the premiere of Four Weddings and A Funeral. Sadly, Versace’s life was cut short in 1997 on the steps of his Miami mansion when he became the fifth and final victim of Andrew Cunanan. The tragic event will be the story behind American Crime Story’s season 2 titled: The Assassination of Gianni Versace. After his death, his sister Donatella became the new Artistic Director and has established a $5.5 billion company her brother would be proud of. 3. Gucci Started in 1921 by a Mr. Guccio Gucci, the company was originally dabbing in leather goods. It wasn’t until 19 years later when his son Aldo would take the company from being a one-stop shop into the fashion powerhouse that it’s now known for being. It’s Aldo that would usher in the era of the brand’s iconic “Bamboo Bag” and its “ready to wear segments.” In the 90’s, the company decided to bring American Fashion designer Tom Ford to revamp their women’s wear. He ended up helping launch the brand to where it is today. The fashion brand houses other well-known designers in its collections such as Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, and Yves Saint Laurent. If you’re in the market to do some shopping at this $12.4 billion brand, expect to spend at least $2,000. 2. Louis Vuitton This may come as a shock but the famous fashion brand has been around longer than you might have thought. Formed 163 years ago in 1854, a young man by the name of Louis Vuitton started out as an apprentice for a box-maker. Vuitton ended up becoming a well-known crafter of luxury trunks and opened up his own shop in Paris. He then ended up becoming the personal box-maker of Napoleon III’s wife, Empress Eugenie de Montijo. Fast forward years later and the company is now worth $28.1 billion with a generated revenue of $10.1 billion. Today, Louis Vuitton doesn’t make just trunks but designer handbags and clothing that can be spotted on the most famous of A-listers. 1. Balenciaga The beginning of Balenciaga’s reign began back in 1919 when it was established by its founder of the same name, Cristóbal Balenciaga. As a young child, Balenciaga became an apprentice to a tailor in his hometown of Getaria, Spain and would eventually get his formal training in Madrid. He would go on to create the House of Balenciaga and skyrocketed to success thanks to his artistic genius. He was hailed as the undisputed “ King of Fashion” and was highly respected among his peers which included the likes of Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, and Pierre Balmain. Balenciaga even helped train the likes of high-fashion designers Oscar de la Renta and Hubert Givenchy to name a few.

The rise in popularity of streetwear clothing has changed the fashion industry. Beginning in the 1980's and rising in popularity in the 90’s, streetwear clothing is now officially among the top-selling fashion categories in the industry today. More and more top celebrities are often dressed in streetwear clothing and its influence can be seen all the way to high-end fashion runways in Paris, France. Brand loyalists and streetwear enthusiasts will continue to debate which streetwear brands are the best. Today it seems a new streetwear brand is founded and put into the market every day. Nevertheless, there is a few streetwear brands that initiated the movement and have withstood the test of time by remaining among the top brands in streetwear clothing today. Unlike other fashion categories, streetwear clothing brand logos are quite unique. While fashion brand logos are often quite simple, streetwear brands and their logos are very distinctive. In the case of the streetwear brands in this video, their logos are very different from other fashion genres. As the streetwear clothing industry continues to develop, new streetwear brands will continue to emerge and streetwear logos will continue to evolve. Nevertheless, you can bet the iconic streetwear brands and logos in this video will continue to dominate the streetwear clothing industry as they’ve done in the past. Here's how a simple mark ends up meaning something big as a great logo. Joe Posner, and Michael Bierut (designer of the Hillary Clinton logo) explain. For more from Michael Bierut on graphic design, check out his book "How to use graphic design to sell things, explain things, make things look better, make people laugh, cry, and (every once in a while) change the world": http://www.amazon.com/How-Michael-Bierut/dp/0062413902 Subscribe to our channel! http://goo.gl/0bsAjO About once a month, there's a new logo to fight about on the internet. The biggest one in recent memory was the highly controversial Hillary Clinton logo, which did not escape scrutiny from Vox.com either. But as a designer/filmmaker, something about these repeated discussions struck me as missing the point on what makes logos tick. It often has little to do with the subjective musings. So I called up Michael Bierut, the designer of that Hillary Clinton logo and countless others. He sat down with me and helped explain the elements of a great logo in the video above. The names and logos of famous brands have a secret meaning you've never heard of. Each company logo has a story behind it. Many brand names seem meaningless to us but have an interesting explanation in the language of the country they come from. “Lego” means “play well” in Danish, “Fanta” comes from German “Fantasie”, Chupa Chups was named so after the Spanish verb “chupar”, which means “to suck”, “Samsung” is Korean for “3 stars”. “Pandora” has to do with a myth of the creation of the first human woman named Pandora. As for the logos, some of them were inspired by real sights, such as the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany for Disney. Others have historical meaning, such as the red cross from the city of Milan’s emblem, and the bloodthirsty crowned viper of the House of Visconti in Alfa Romeo’s logo. The Chupa Chups symbol as we know it was designed by super famous artist Salvador Dali himself. TIMESTAMPS Disney 0:30 Lego 1:06 Pepsi 1:33 Fanta 2:13 Chupa Chups 2:40 Nintendo 3:26 Pandora 4:01 Häagen-Dazs 4:45 Cadillac 5:25 Durex 5:55 Levi’s 6:22 eBay 6:57 Samsung 7:26 Sega 8:04 Audi 8:40 Alfa Romeo 9:20 SUMMARY -The current Disney logo was inspired by the Cinderella Castle and created in 2006. -“Lego” comes from the Danish phrase “leg godt”, which means “play well”. -Look at Pepsi’s logo from a different angle and you will get a creepy message. -Try to say “fantasy” in German to understand where the word “Fanta” comes from. -You will be surprised to know Salvador Dali designed the Chupa Chups logo. -The 3 Japanese characters “Nin-ten-do” mean “leave luck to heaven”. -“Pandora” logo with a crown promises you excellent royal quality. -If you were wondering what “Häagen-Dazs” means, you’ll be sad to find out it stands for nothing. -Cadillac was named after French explorer Sieur de Cadillac, founder of Detroit. -“Durex” stands for “durability, reliability, and excellence”. -Pay close attention to “Levi’s” logo to see what body part it’s covering. -“eBay” is the short for Echo Bay, not “Electronic Bay” as many people think. -“Sam” in Korean means “3,” and “Sung” stands for “star”. - You will be surprised to find out that SEGA stands for “Service Games of Japan.” -“Horch” means “listen” in German, and “Audi” is the same thing in Latin. -The Alfa Romeo logo has the city of Milan’s emblem and the symbol of the House of Visconti in it. Graphic Design Resources: https://goo.gl/kUXMpU How To Find Logo Design Ideas: Hello everyone, welcome back, many of you asked me, how to find logo design ideas, it was really a hard question to answer, because I can’t teach you creativity, but there is some methods that help you get creative and come up with great logo design concepts. So today, I am going to walk you through the process of designing a logo, but I will concentrate on the thinking behind the design part. Generating Logo Design Ideas: In order to generate great logo design ideas, you have to put in the time into the thinking behind the design, it’s a whole process, if you follow it, you will be in good position to come up with good ideas, that works as great solution for the client’s problem. Creative Brief: To start the thinking process, you have to collect every information needed of your client, and this can easily done by creating a creative brief, It’s a simple document you send to your client, that ask thoughtful questions about the client and his business, in order to gather specific information about the project, and to define your client’s expectations. Analyze brief, discover & research business competitors and target audience. Mindmapping: After sending the creative brief documentto the client, he will respond with the information needed. The company name is Royal Veggies Transport. The client wanted something elegant and classy, at the same time the logo needs to reflect the veggies aspect. To achieve that, we will use the logo’s main keywords to extract some unexpected ideas, that is what we call mind mapping. Mind mapping is the creation of a visual representation of the words related to the main topic, then finding other associations to these words, in order to generate creative logo ideas. Words Association: After The mind mapping phase, I make separated lists, each main word with its associations. then I take off the words that I find inconvenient to the project, then I make some combinations of three words, one word from each list, so I can get some unexpected ideas for the logo . Sketching Saul Bass said, Design is thinking made visual. So after all the thinking and the research process it’s time transform that into a visual. So, these are the combinations of the word that I extracted from the Mind Mapping and the word Associations. To attend the right solution for your logo, you have to execute all the combinations, then you filter them and the stronger survive. I will walk you through the execution of one combination, which is, Carrot, Crown, Wings. Putting in mind all the information that I collected before, I will start by sketching. It doesn’t require being precise when sketching, it’s only about capturing the essence of the idea. In fact, anyone can draw, as I showed you before in the mood board I collected some Images, I will use it as reference, if you don’t know how to draw a carrot, look at a photo of a carrot, and try to do the same thing with simpler form. Take a look at all the famous logos with the hidden messages that might surprise you. Every line and color in the logos of the world’s most famous companies have a whole lot of meaning behind them. From hidden messages in Wendy’s symbol to NBC’s peacock secret – get ready to learn a bunch! For example, it’s hard to believe, but Pepsi paid over a million dollars to create this special logo with its secret meanings. The new design hints at mysterious and secretive themes, such as the Earth’s magnetic field, Feng shui, Pythagoras, geodynamics, the theory of relativity, and the golden ratio. The designer has explained that this logo also makes reference to Mona Lisa, the Parthenon, and even René Descartes. The red, white and blue colors have always represented the American flag. TIMESTAMPS Paramount Pictures 0:28 Domino's Pizza 1:22 Hershey’s Kisses 2:19 NBC 3:09 Carrefour 3:56 Roxy 4:24 Cisco 4:56 Picasa 5:19 Nintendo Gamecube 5:54 Unilever 6:22 Wendy's 7:14 Pepsi 7:54 SUMMARY - Paramount Pictures They say the first original logo was drawn on a napkin. The mountain on it resembled Ben Lomond in Utah, as it played an important part in the life of studio creator. The 24 stars around the mountain weren’t a random decoration of the logo. They stood for 24 actors and actresses who were the first to sign contracts with Paramount. - Domino's Pizza The first original logo had dominos on it. The one dot stood for the very first restaurant. The two dots symbolized the two franchises that opened a few years later. The plan was to add dots for each new restaurant. - Hershey’s Kisses Can you see the chocolate Kiss between “K” and “I”? By the way, do you know why Hershey’s Kisses are called so? The most popular version says it’s named after the sound the chocolate makes moving onto the conveyer belt. - NBC The peacock was first used as NBC logo back in 1956. Why did they choose a peacock of all birds? For its variety of colors and also to show how proud they were of their new broadcasting technologies. - Carrefour Its name translates as “crossroads”. That explains the red and blue arrows that point in opposing directions. The white negative space is also used in a smart way. If you give it a close look, you will see a “C” for “Carrefour” in between the arrows. - Roxy Roxy’s logo is more than just a heart to symbolize love for sports. It’s a crest built of two Quicksilver logos on their ends. - Cisco Internet networking giant Cisco got its name after the city of its headquarters – San Francisco. Their logo has both a reference to their location and to what they are doing. - Picasa Do you know what “casa” means in Spanish? It translates as “home”. The negative space in the center of the logo looks like a little house. - Nintendo Gamecube The cube isn’t just a cube within a cube. The outer figure is a letter “G” and the inside negative space forms a clear “C”. GC for Gamecube. - Unilever The letter “U” which clearly stands for Unilever is made up of 25 icons which stand for everything that’s important to them. You can find a lock of hair, a tea leaf, a jar, a hand and even a spoon in there, as well as many more symbolic drawings. - Wendy's The logo clearly says... “mom”. The idea is that Wendy’s is happy to give you the taste of your mom’s cooking and they want this thinking to stick to you. - Pepsi The designer has explained that this logo also makes reference to Mona Lisa, the Parthenon, and even René Descartes. The red, white and blue colors have always represented the American flag. Which of the logo stories is your favorite? Do you know any more cool logo facts? Tell us in the comments below. Contact Aiden and learn more at www.180lawco.com. Someone asked me recently when is the best time to trademark your business name or logo. The simple answer: As soon as possible! Really, in general, the sooner the better for filing a trademark for your business name or logo. I discussed in a previous video that you have some trademark rights under common law even if you never register it with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). But, having a registered trademark is infinitely better and it makes your trademark rights a lot stronger. So, even though you might have a common law trademark in something, its always better to actually register the trademark if you can. To register a trademark, you do have to be actively using whatever the trademark is in commerce. So, if your business is already established, i.e., you have a website or marketing materials using your business name or logo that you are trying to trademark, then you are actively using it in commerce and that will work in your favor when you try to get it registered. If you’re not quite there yet, for example, maybe all you have so far is a great logo, you can still file an application for the trademark. However it is an “intent to use” application… and it is exactly what it sounds like. It means that you are intending to use whatever the trademark is. So, that will buy you some time in being able to actively use that trademark in commerce, but still getting that protection if your trademark is ultimately registered. So, even if your business is not actively started yet, you can, in most cases, still file that intent to use application to get a head start on that trademark registration. So, simply put, the sooner you can file a trademark application, the better off you are. It basically gets you first in line in priority of using that trademark, assuming no one else has already used it. And if you are still getting your business started, you can file that intent to use application in order to get a little extra time for you to start using it actively in commerce. How To Trademark a Name and Logo Secure Your Brand with Trademark Factory® Risk-Free, Guaranteed. https://www.trademarkfactory.com Number 1: Decide WHAT you want to trademark. Would it be your name, your logo, both as a single trademark or both as two separate trademarks. Number 2: Find out if you CAN trademark your brand. You need to know if the brand you picked is even trademarkable. And it means a lot more than simply checking if someone had trademarked the same brand before. Number 3: Decide WHO will own the trademark. Is it you personally? Your company? It can be either, but you need to make sure your decision makes sense from business perspective. Number 4: Decide WHERE you want to trademark your brand. It doesn’t matter where you are. It doesn’t matter where your company is incorporated. What matters is, where do most of your customers come from now or will in the near future. You need to look at your most important markets and trademark your brand there. Number 5: Decide WHEN you want to trademark your brand. You should trademark your brand in your home country as soon as humanly possible. It is often too late but never too early to protect your brand. A great deal of very successful brands were trademarked BEFORE launch. That’s when it’s the easiest to protect your brand—as long as it’s trademarkable. Number 6: Decide WHICH products and services your trademark application would cover. Trademarks don’t give you a monopoly over your name, logo, or tagline themselves. Trademarks give you a monopoly over the mental link between your brand AND the products and services you have listed in your trademark application. For example, Apple doesn’t own the word “Apple.” They own the word “Apple” in connection with computers, phones, software and stuff like that. But it doesn’t mean they can stop someone from calling their excavators “Apple”. Number 7: Decide HOW you will be filing your trademark application. Basically, there are 4 ways to do it. You can do it yourself. The danger is that most business owners, however smart and experienced they are as business owners, don’t know enough specifics about trademark laws to go through the whole process successfully. In case you don’t know, it takes on average 14 months to register a trademark in the United States and 18 months on average to register a trademark in Canada. During these long months, you would be communicating with the Trademarks Office. And if you don’t know what you’re doing, you will probably end up with nothing. The second option is to use online filing websites, which basically have developed software that makes it easier for you to understand what should go where into your trademark application. The problem with this option is that they are not representing you. The third option is to use a traditional law firm. The problem with this option is unpredictability. And finally, the forth option, you’re welcome to file your trademarks through Trademark Factory. Not only will we conduct a comprehensive trademark search to tell you exactly whether your brand is trademarkable FOR FREE, we will also offer you our most popular package All-Inclusive. It’s basically one flat fee for our services that covers everything from start to finish. You will never see another invoice from us. And for most trademarks we file, we will actually also offer a 100% money-back guarantee. Which means that if after spending as much time as necessary trying to come up with a winning argument, if we then lose, you will get all your money back. We’re the only firm in the world that does this. And if you have a brand you want to protect, fill out the form at trademarkfactory.com—and we’ll get the process started. Watch in HD! Questions or suggestions? Leave them below! Hey guys! So in todays video I will be showing you how to make these super inexpensive Nike and Adidas sweaters. These are NOT real name brand clothes and they are not affiliated with either company in any way. I am simply making these to wear for me and only me =] NOT FOR RESALE. What I love about these transfer sheets is for one the gold is super eye catching & for two, you can customize your clothes with whatever you want. Be creative! I'm thinking about making some as Christmas gifts for family & friends =] All items used will be listed below! YES you can wash this! After a couple washes though, the logo will shrink a bit but nothing major. *If you trace your letters on the back of your transfer paper like I did, be sure to flip your logo/letters over before you trace so they are backwards. After you cut the design from the transfer paper, iron it down to your clothes the proper way, not backwards (it'll ruin your iron).* Fruit of the loom mens sweaters (size M) from walmart $6 each Iron on Transfer paper (2 sheets) from michaels $6 each Scissors Exacto knife Iron This project in total took me about 1 hr! A web visitor wrote in: I have created a Logo with a generic phrase for my apparel company, with a design that indicates just what it means by utilizing a letter as part of the graphic. I would like to use this both nationally and internationally as soon as make sure that I secure the trademark for it how do I go about getting the trademark registered? He goes on to ask me to Suggest the proper or best business structure to maximize profit, minimize liability and protect my assets from taxes and judgements, so he will have the most latitude to operate his business on a global scale with minimal risks. Well, this is a great, and complex question. First off, a trademark is... A distinctive word, symbol, or phrase that's affixed to goods or services in commerce as an indicator to identify their source or origin. Trademarks are Brands... Just like the brands that used to be burned into the hides of cattle to identify the ranch they came from. You acquire trademark rights by actually using the mark in interstate commerce to sell goods or services. Trademarks protect only against others using the same or confusingly similar marks in the same class of goods and services. So, if you have a trademark for a particular brand of medical device, you probably can't prevent the same mark being used for a line of shoes, or as a title for a TV series... Now, because we are talking about what the person describes as a "generic phrase" it's probably not distinctive enough for trademark registration just by itself. But, the inclusion of a stylized letter and distinctive design might make it registrable as a logo design. Now, the process isn't that hard. Nowadays, we do the applications online, and it's a step by step process. But it can be tricky because how you complete the application can have a big impact on whether or not the application gets approved. You might, for example, need to disclaim certain aspects of the mark, like the generic phrase in our readers’ situation. Or, selecting the right kinds of specimens of use to ensure maximum coverage and protection. It's also possible to go too narrow or too broad in the description of goods and services and risk being underwrote the, or possibly losing your mark later if you're discovers to have overstated the scope of your use of the mark. The best way to ensure your trademark gets registered, and you get all the benefits and protections, is to have a lawyer prepare the application for you. Those of us who do this a lot have learned about all the problem areas, and have a handle on the best practices to get things done right. My experience is that folks who do it themselves have their applications rejected more often, and then, unfortunately have to hire me to fix the problems they encounter. That usually costs as much or more than they'd have paid me to do the registration in the first place. Your trademarks, your brands, may someday be the most valuable assets your business owns. So, it makes sense to invest a little bit now to protect them, when doing so is relatively easy. Rather than paying a lot to clean up messes later. --- So, what's the proper or best business structure to maximize profit, minimize liability and protect assets from taxes and judgements? Well, there are several kinds of legal structures that can help on this. The most common, and most established is the corporation, which provides insulation from liability for shareholders. But corporations come with some administrative hoops you need to jump through, and they have to pay taxes separately, so income can sometimes be taxed twice. Sub chapter S corporations are for small, closely held companies, like family owned enterprises, and similar, where there are a small handful of shareholders... These corporations can be taxed like a partnership, where profits pass through directly to shareholders, so that double taxation doesn't happen. But these corporations also have the administrative hoops I mentioned before. An LLC offers most of the advantages of corporations, but can be taxed as a pass through entity, and don't have the same administrative hoops, but they’re not as well established forms of entities, and can have other tricky aspects. The bottom line is, I just can't give a general answer here. Every business is different, so you need to consult with an experienced business attorney (like me) who can help evaluate the situation and advise you accordingly. Getting this stuff right is important, and it's always best to handle these things as you're starting up, so you don't wind up having to backtrack, or unwind transactions later on when your structure changes. Invest a bit now, so you don't overspend on fixes later. And that’s going to do it for this video… If you have a question you'd like to see here on Asked and Answered, just visit http://firemark.com/questions and let me know. See you next time!

http://vondranlegal.com/zip-counsel-affordable-trademark-legal-services/ YES YOU CAN SHARE THIS VIDEO ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS. MAKE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE TO OUR POPULAR CHANNEL! DON'T FORGET TO WATCH THIS IMPORTANT VIDEO WHICH TALKS ABOUT HOW TO "SEARCH" BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR A TRADEMARk. https://youtu.be/R7GqsYgOV4s Attorney Steve® does it again, this time with a helpful video for startup companies and individuals looking to register a federal trademark but who may not have the money to hire an intellectual property or trademark lawyer. This video is general legal information only and NOT legal advice or a substitute for legal advice. Trademark registration can be MUCH MORE COMPLEX than highlighted in this video. It is important to always do a thorough trademark search BEFORE applying for a trademark through the USPTO. Once you file, you cannot get your money back. So make sure there is no one else using your trademark before you apply. You can do this by searching the internet. Search for domain registrations that may be similar. Search on Google. You can Thomson Thomson to run a detailed paid search. You should also try to pick "arbitrary and fanciful" names as opposed to suggestive and descriptive terms. In other words "Nike" or "Xerox" are better names than "Sports Shoes Company" or "Copy Paper Inc." Be creative - think out of the box. Also, keep in mind there are many different things you can get a trademark (for goods) or service mark (for services) for. Examples are: 1. Your company logo 2. A slogan you use in your business 3. Nicknames (ex. "Johnny Football") 4. Your business name These are just a few of the common examples. At any rate, this video should help you understand what lawyers do when filing a trademark. This is the same process companies like LegalZoom do. So in short YOU CAN DO IT without a lawyer if you take time to read the screens, and watch some of their helpful videos the USPTO offers. If you need help and are willing to pay a LOW FLAT RATE FEE - we can help you. We can also help with the following: 1. Trademark name searches (we can help you pick a good mark to build your brand on) 2. Registering trademarks and service marks 3. Responding to office action letters (refusals or denials) from the trademark examiner 4. Cease and desist letters 5. Trademark arbitration, mediation, litigation 6. Domain name disputes For more information, call us at (877) 276-5084 or click on the link at the top of this page to go to our corporate homepage. As we like to say - we are The First Name In Legal Services" Hope you enjoyed this video!! Check out our others. Keep in mind there are RISKS associated with filing your own trademark with the USPTO (such as having to respond to an office action letter, or having your trademark denied when a good search would have prevented the filing), but many people are finding that filing a trademark application (for example to start your own clothing line, or a name of a band, or product name) is not as mysterious as people once thought. ATTORNEY STEVE TIP: Make sure you SEARCH your mark BEFORE you buy a domain name, engage in advertising, name your product etc. There is nothing worse than picking a name that some other company already has or which is "confusingly similar" to their name, This means your trademark will not register. This is the biggest risk of filing for your own trademark. Sometimes it is worth the money to just pay trademark counsel to search and file for your corporate trademark. We can do slogans, logos, and company names. _______________ PLEASE SUPPORT US ON PATREON - OUR GOAL IS TO BE THE LEADING PROVIDER OF LEGAL NEWS AND INFORMATION BUT WE THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN DO IT WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT. • Setup your own online t-shirt store with Shopify HERE: https://goo.gl/HKv5Un (2-week free trial) T-shirt designers can get in to serious legal trouble if they use elements from games, movies, TV shows and games in their prints. Copyright/trademarks legally prevent t-shirt manufacturers from using other people's works on their shirts for profit. There seem to be 4 exemptions to copyright/trademark law: • Personal Use • The copyright owner has died • The copied work was created before copyright law existed • Fair Use Quotes from copywritten/trademarked works are also off limits. These laws don't just apply to images and logos. The nature of football is that players move from club to club. This often leaves supporters with replica shirts with unwanted players names and numbers on the back, this can often be expensive and once the player is gone the shirt becomes redundant. Here are 3 methods on how to remove those names and numbers and make the shirt wearable again.
