Who Lives In the Deepest Place On Earth?

09:57
Who lives at the bottom of the Mariana trench? Scientists have finally revealed the Mariana Trench mystery. Take a look at the deepest creature ever caught there! The curiosity of human nature makes people look for secrets and mysteries far away from home, like in outer space or on other planets. Scientists have mapped only 5 percent of our planet’s seafloor. And if you’ve ever considered the ocean plain and boring, the video you’re about to watch will blow your mind. TIMESTAMPS The Mariana Trench is the deepest area 0:45 The deepest-living fish in the world 2:40 “Ethereal snailfish” 3:12 A mysterious metallic sound 3:38 Deep sea cucumber 5:50 The deep sea anglerfish 6:20 The barreleye fish 7:13 The Champagne Vent 8:05 The 4-inch amoeba 8:35 SUMMARY The Mariana Trench is the deepest area you can find on Earth. Although almost everybody has heard the name, we have shockingly little data about this dark underwater place in the western Pacific Ocean. It’s a monumental task mapping the seafloor and taking pictures when the water pressure at the bottom is more than 1,000 times greater than that at the surface! The Mariana Trench houses the deepest parts of our planet. Subscribe for a new video every week! ►► http://goo.gl/lYWszy ____________________________________________________________________ The Mariana Trench is located near the Mariana Islands in the Western Pacific Ocean and is labelled as the deepest section in the earth's seabed, stretching approximately 2,550 kilometres (1,580 mi) long and has an average width of around 69 kilometres (43 mi). There have only been two manned descents to the very bottom nearly 7 miles deep of pure darkness. Not only is it a fascinating place and wonder of the planet, but it's also shrouded in mystery. Since so few have been down there, and only a hand full of cameras have recorded the bottom, what creatures live at the bottom is one of life's mysterious. Sit back and enjoy this short documentary of the Marian Trench in all its glory and mystery. ____________________________________________________________________ Don't forget to follow TOP5s on Social Media to keep up with upcoming videos and information! :) Twitter - https://twitter.com/TheTop5s Facebook - https://en-gb.facebook.com/TheOfficialTop5s/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thetop5sofficial/?hl=en Also, check out the new Top5s website to read or even write your own interesting articles! Deep Sea Mysteries

11:59
The ocean is vast and full of things we as humans have yet to discover. Put on your scuba suits, this one’s one’s going to be quite the ride. Hopefully, strange noises, odd creatures, and mysterious structures don’t scare you. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 5. Colossal Squid Remember that small vampire squid? Yeah, take that and then make it like a million times bigger. Okay, not a million, but from this picture of one dried up on the shore, you understand. No to be confused with the giant squid, the colossal squid differs in that their tentacles have little hooks on them. They’re similar in length, though colossal squid are said to be stouter and heavier. These rare and terrifying creatures are a result of a phenomenon that is known as abyssal gigantism, where invertebrates in the deep sea are much larger in size so as to adapt to the smaller portions of food sources. Colossal squid have been seen to grow up to 46 ft long, weighing up to 1,650 pounds. Also, their eyes are said to be the biggest in the whole of the animal kingdom, their eyeballs measuring up to 11 inches in diameter. 4. USS Saratoga Admittedly, this photo looks terrifying, though do not be alarmed too much by the sight of it. What you see before you is the anchor hawse hole that was once part of the USS Saratoga. This gigantic artifact was discovered in the Bikini Atoll in Micronesia, were many a seacraft have met their demise. The anchor hawse hole has been sunken in the water for so long that it was naturally taken over by the aquatic environment, turning into something that is initially unrecognizable. 3. Mariana Trench Mystery Shark Oh, so you thought that that great white shark cannibal was the most of your worries as far as sharks go? Well think again, because something even more mysterious than that 16 foot shark eating shark is the Mariana Trench Mystery Shark. Footage of this elusive shark was apparently captured by marine biologists from Japan. The footage was concluded to have been taken from Suruga Bay in Japan. To give you some context, here’s how an average person measures up to more common sharks. And that biggest one is the mystery shark. There’s even been speculation that this shark may in fact be a megalodon, a species that’s said to have been extinct for millions of years. 2. The Bloop It might not be the most epic or mysterious sounding of titles, but its nomenclature doesn’t make it any less intriguing once you hear what The Bloop is. In the year 1997, a bloop, or low frequency underwater sound was detected in the south Pacific Ocean by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The sound was said to be powerful, at and was at first likened to the sound icequakes that take place in icebergs make. About 5 years later, it was then said to be more similar to a marine animal--though this was again disputed and the ice theory was considered to be conclusive. But within the scramble to figure out what the sound was, there were people saying perhaps == was real after all. Underwater Waterfall This is definitely a real picture of a real place--not something out of a fantasy land. This is the underwater waterfall located in the Denmark Strait. It is the largest underwater waterfall in the world, and is also known as the Denmark Strait Cataract or the North Atlantic Circulation Pump. It can be found on the western side of the strait located in the Atlantic Ocean and is quite the sight to see indeed. It’s as if the earth was opened and is swallowing the surface world whole--which is a nice thought. The waterfall measures up to 11,500 ft deep and was formed due to varying temperatures between the eastern and western water masses. The flow rate is over 175 million cubic ft per second and is said to be the most voluminous water fall in the world.

Skydiving into the Blue Hole, Belize

08:28
http://yogaFLIGHT.com The ultimate skydive in my 22 years of jumping! Exit from 13,500 feet in PERFECT weather conditions (ie endless blue skies, puffy clouds and NO wind) with my beautiful husband slaDE~ and our Arizona friend, Ginger. I deployed at 8,000 feet so I could soak in all the exotic beauty and sublime heavenly experience. A once in a lifetime never-to-forget skydive!!! BTW, my canopy is red, black and gray, and I am the last person to land in this video. WOOHOO! The Great Blue Hole is a stunning circular jewel surrounded by a ring of shallow luminous coral reef in the Lighthouse Reef Atoll. Measuring 1,000 feet across and more than 400 feet deep, this ocean-floor limestone sinkhole is believed to be the world's largest blue hole, made famous by Jacques Cousteau. Atolls are characterized by a large, fairly shallow lagoon surrounded by coral reefs. Only four known true atolls exist in the Western Hemisphere, and of these, three reside in Belize: Turneffe, Lighthouse and Glovers.

Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller D-Blue 116660 Luxury Watch – James Cameron Edition

08:48
http://www.crmjewelers.com/vip/ – Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller D-Blue 116660 Luxury Watch – James Cameron Edition The Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller D-Blue, also known as the Rolex Deep Blue Sea, is a special edition of the Rolex Sea-Dweller luxury watch. With a reference of 116660, the Deepsea D-Blue is also called the Rolex James Cameron Edition, named after the director of the Deep-sea thriller, “The Abyss,” back in 1989 (he also known for directing a myriad of blockbusters like The Terminator [1984], Aliens [1986], Titanic [1997] and Avatar [2009]). The Deepsea D-Blue high end watch was introduced by Rolex in 2014 to commemorate Jame Cameron's first solo human dive to the deepest point in the oceans of planet Earth, the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean (10,994 meters deep or 36,070 feet). During Cameron's Deepsea Challenge, a special “supercharged” 51-mm version of the Sea-Dweller Rolex designed was strapped to the manipulator arm of the submersible. Designed to withstand 12,000 meters of depth, the special Rolex Deepsea was able to withstand a crushing water pressure of eight tons per square inch, 1000 times greater than the atmospheric pressure at sea level! Even though the the Deepsea D-Blue edition is a new watch, it shares most of the same specifications as the regular and less expensive Rolex Seadweller 16600 mens watch with the black dial, including the extreme waterproof rating of 3,900 meters (12,800 feet) thanks to Rolex patented safety valve. The main differences between the regular Deepsea and the D-Blue can be found on the dial itself. If you look at the dial of the Rolex Deepsea D-Blue, you will notice that it fades from blue to black to symbolize the transition of color experienced during a deep sea dive. At lower depths, the ocean is void of any color whatsoever. The regular Sea-Dweller simply comes with a black dial. The word “DEEPSEA” on the dial of the new Sea-Dweller also has the same color as the submersible vehicle used by James Cameron to complete his incredible dive. The Price of the Deepseas There's quite a jump in price when you go from the regular Sea-Dweller to the Deepsea D-Blue dial edition. While a standard Deepsea Sea Dweller sells for an average of around $7,500 to $8,000 pre-owned, a preowned James Cameron Rolex is going to cost you around $11,500. That's quite a jump in price for a gradient dial and a neon name! While the colors of the D-Blue do stand out way more than the standard Deepsea, some people might not want to spend the extra money on the special edition. Wearing a Deepsea Rolex Both versions of the Deepsea are 44 millimeters in diameter. Even though this is the same case size as that of the Yacht-Master II, the case design of the Sea-Dweller models much taller, so unless you have a relatively larger wrist, you might not like the way the Deepsea sits on your arm. As far as the Watch Game goes, if you don't mind the size, the James Cameron edition of the Sea-Dweller is definitely going to turn some heads in your direction! The Rolex Deepsea D-Blue Edition as an Investment I'm not yet convinced that the D-Blue version of the Sea-Dweller will continue to enjoy a premium in price over it's black-dial cousin. Only time will tell. Will the price gap on both models shrink over time, bringing the price of the new Sea-Dweller lower? It's possible. Nevertheless, it is also possible that the D-Blue continues to appreciate proportionately over time, similarly to the Rolex Batman and the regular GMT II. Deep Ocean Live: Rescue team test their equipment

02:46
The Deep Ocean rescue team has travelled 200 meters below sea level to test their equipment ahead of Sky News’ live broadcast. Their brief is to look for undiscovered marine life in the Seychelles -- and scientists from the Nekton Mission have already begun that work. The crew is currently off the coast of the remote Alphonse Group. Our Science Correspondent Thomas Moore reports from beneath the waves. Sea mining could destroy underwater Lost City

03:34
Scientists believe life on earth may have begun in a place called ‘The Lost City’, deep beneath the mid Atlantic ocean. But now a United Nations agency has assigned this part of the seabed to Poland for mining exploration purposes. But scientists say that miners may inadvertently destroy precious species and geological structures in their quest for minerals. Sky’s Economics Editor Ed Conway reports. Deep Ocean Live: Search for new marine life begins

02:21
Scientists from the Nekton mission have begun searching for new marine life in the Seychelles. Marine biologists on the Nekton mission are taking samples from the surface down to a depth of 500m. Researchers are dragging nets along the surface to gather tiny crustaceans, larvae and juvenile fish. Sky News will soon broadcast a pioneering series of programmes - Deep Ocean Live - from 300m below the waves. Why do we need to explore the deep ocean?

02:29
Sky News will be joining scientists from the Nekton mission as they explore Aldabra - one of the world's largest and most remote coral atolls - 600 miles south-west of the Seychelles. The boat - Ocean Zephyr - will be leaving from Bremerhaven in Germany travelling through the Mediterranean Sea before going through the Suez Canal and the Red Sea until it reaches the remote island of Aldabra in the Seychelles. From there, submarines on board will attempt to dive to a depth of 300 meters - the equivalent of the Eiffel Tower.  Our science correspondent Thomas Moore has more. Little girl inside the sea, sinking down into the deep ‘Til the world all around her is as dark as it could be Little girl inside the sea, wants to know the person she saw then Because there is somebody who makes her want to live again... In the place where I am now, there is no day or night So here I am awake inside this endless dream But I think back to the way that you freely spread wings You were absolutely beautiful when you took flight And once again the rays of light are catching my eyes You turn in time to see me staring straight at you And as you start to make your way towards me I finally realize It’s me who’s hiding the truth... Little girl inside the sea, falling down into the deep, Breaks the darkness around her with the redness in her cheeks Little girl inside the sea, just wants to have her heart be seen as is But the cruel ocean won’t allow for petty things like this! And I know that all the clothes I wear are torn up and dirty The smile on my face no longer means I’m happy There is no way that I can possibly let myself be shown So please, just leave me alone! Suddenly all the feelings that I had kept inside me burst, melting down And then I tried to look for you but came to realize that you’re nowhere to be found… Little girl’s anxiety builds inside her steadily She is scared that darkness took the one she wants to meet Feeling trapped inside the sea, she cannot help but to reach out her hand “You also have splendid colors in you, do you understand?” Little girl inside the sea, slowly led up from the deep As she hears songs of blessings from the snow coloured marine Little girl inside the sea, wants to know the person she saw then Because she has found the one who makes her want to live again! And now that I’m out of the ocean, I’ll take off again…. ! _______________________________________________________ Song: Deep Sea Girl Music by Yuuyu-P Lyrics: Ham / https://www.youtube.com/user/SirHamnet Art: Dorris / http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=408225 Mix: Dysergy Vocals: Lizz ___________________________________________________________ PLEASE DO NOT USE MY COVERS FOR NIGHTCORE!

MYSTERIOUS Creatures Living At The BOTTOM Of The World!

12:59
Check out these mysterious creatures living at the bottom of the world! From scary deep sea monsters to bizarre animals living at the mariana trench, this top 10 list of creatures living in the deep ocean will give you chills! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "FRIENDLIEST Sea Creatures Around The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/AL45LsRItq8 Watch our "Most TERRIFYING Sea Monsters Ever!" video here: https://youtu.be/B9aPB6KB504 Watch our "STRANGEST Things Found In The Ocean!" video here: https://youtu.be/XYfqi5VNgac 10. Deep Sea Starfish There are more than 2,000 known species of sea star, ranging from those that you find in rock pools to those that you’d see on a coral reef- but amongst the most bizarre ones that have been found are those that live deep below the waves. 9. Glass Finger This strange species of sea sponge that lives in deep waters are called Glass Fingers. Apart from looking like glass, their name actually comes from the way that their skeletons are formed. 8. Deep Sea Spider If you’re not too fond of spiders around your home, then these next creatures will show you how lucky you are to live on land! Spiders of epic proportions do live among us and grow to huge sizes of the coast of Antarctica. 7. Acorn Worm Acorn worms can live anywhere from the shoreline to over 3000 meters (10,000 ft) deep. They are very unusual creatures. There are actually only less than 100 known species of Acorn worm, and most varieties grow up to 1.5 feet long. 6. Barreleye Fish If you didn’t know any better, you might think this fish was some kind of aquatic robot used to spy on submarines during the cold war! The Pacific barreleye fish is an extraordinary creature that lives deep in the ocean’s waters. 5. Giant Isopod The Giant Isopod is another creepy creature that lives at the bottom of the sea. Related to pillbugs, it’s not actually a bug. It’s a carnivorous crustacean that crawls around the deep sea floor looking for food- from the remains of creatures that have fallen to the depths, or slow moving, living creatures like sea cucumbers and sponges, that it’s able to catch up to. 4. Dragon Fish The deep sea dragonfish, also called the Barbeled Dragonfish, is a family of fish that are found in the deepest parts of the ocean around the world. In all, there are nearly 300 different known species, each of which have their own unique characteristics. 3. Mariana Snailfish The ability for scientists to explore the deepest parts of the ocean has improved significantly in recent decades, which has led to a number of unmanned research missions to the deepest known place on Earth! 2. Sleeper Sharks Sleeper sharks are very rarely seen by ocean researchers. They are known to live in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and grow to up to 23 feet (7 meters) long and weigh up to 1,958 pounds (888 kg). A discovery in 2016 completely changed the way these creatures are understood. 1. Devil Worm All of the other animals on this list live in the ocean, since they provide much more habitable environments than are available underground, and far more research has been done in the water because it’s easier to access. This final one, though is the exception. Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

How Deep Is the Ocean In Reality?

17:26
A whopping 94% of all life-forms on Earth are aquatic. Such a huge number of living beings who can't survive without water is understandable. After all, more than 70% of our planet's surface is covered with water. The World Ocean includes the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean. There's enough water in the oceans to fill a 685-mile-long bathtub! One of the main nagging questions people have been asking for ages is "How deep is the ocean in reality?" Let’s find an answer to it. TIMESTAMPS Sunlit zone 1:21 Twilight zone 6:17 Midnight zone 10:19 The abyss 13:17 Trench zone 14:25 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -The Sunlit zone stretches from 14.5 ft, that is is the depth of a standard Olympic diving pool, to 561 ft under the water’s surface, where RMS Carpathia found her last dwelling. This ship became famous after her participation in the rescue of the Titanic survivors. -At 656 ft, the twilight zone begins. That's where you can see the giant oarfish. At a depth of 1,453 ft, you could reach the height of the Empire State Building if somebody powerful enough decided to submerge it under the water. The giant squid lives as deep as 2,952 ft below the surface. This is where the Twilight zone ends. -At a depth of 3,608 ft, there's the deepest volcano recorded by scientists. At 12,795 ft below the water’s surface, there are Air France flight 447 black boxes. Airbus A330 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean in 2009. This is where the Midnight zone ends. -At a depth of 13,123 ft, the midnight zone ends, and the abyss lies ahead. 18,897 ft is the bottom of the abyss and the depth at which you can find the deepest shipwreck. SS Rio Grande sunk in 1941 in the South Atlantic and was discovered only in 1996. -At a depth of 19,685 ft, the abyss ends and gives way to the trench zone. At a depth of 36,070 ft, you will reach the very bottom of the ocean in its deepest point known to man: Challenger Deep. How Deep Is The Ocean (How High Is The Sky) How much do I love you? I'll tell you no lie How deep is the ocean? How high is How Deep Is The Ocean (How High Is The Sky) How much do I love you? I'll tell you no lie How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky? How many times a day do I think of you? How many roses are sprinkled with dew? How far would I travel To be where you are? How far is the journey From here to a star? And if I ever lost you How much would I cry? How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky? How much do I love you? I'll tell you no lie How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky? How many times a day do I think of you? How many roses are sprinkled with dew? How far would I travel To be where you are? The Ocean is Way Deeper Than You Think

In this video I explore just how deep the ocean actually is while discussing some of the strange life down there... and other just plain weird and odd things about the ocean. Feel free to leave any comments and share what you found interesting, or anything else you think that I should have added! Music is by Ross Bugden, seriously, his channel is great. Game Description: Deep Sky Derelicts is an original combination of turn-based strategy and RPG, enriched with tactical card combat and popular roguelike elements. Explore derelict alien ships, fight, loot and upgrade your gear, all in distinctive retro-futuristic comic book aesthetic style. In a grim dystopian future, where mankind has scattered across the galaxy and the human society has split into two distinct classes, you are a poor stateless outcast forced to live off scraps from derelict alien stations and ships in the outer space, yet you dream of becoming a privileged citizen and living on the surface of a habitable planet, enjoying non-synthetic air, water and food. A fabled alien derelict ship somewhere within the Deep Sky sector of space is your voucher for a citizenship and a promise of cozy life on a hospitable planet. Build and control a squad of up to three mercenary characters and set on to explore derelict ships within your reach from the scavenger's base. Searching the derelicts for loot and clues, you come across many friendly inhabitants and traders, but more often – various enemies. Challenge and defeat them in tactical turn-based fights, where randomly-drawn cards form your changing arsenal of combat actions, gain experience for yourself and your crew, loot dead bodies, resupply and upgrade once back at your base. The scavenger's home ship gives you the opportunity to heal and level-up your mercenaries, recruit new ones, equip them, upgrade their gear or recharge energy for life support during missions. Key Features: Fresh take on turn-based combat with cards Refined sci-fi comic book look & feel Endless customization options for characters and scavenging teams High replay value thanks to procedural generation of content Story of the human society divided within a dystopian universe Two game modes: story and arena
