These solo hybrid-vocation demonstrations are done using a max-level character, without any pawns, and using mostly unoptimized equipment loadouts. Armor is selected based on what I think looks good, while the weapon choice, in this case, is the best stuff I can find - because these demos take place on Bitterblack Isle.
Some undead things, A harpy, Gorecyclops, Cursed Dragon (pre-daimon)
All the Hybrid vocations have excellent soloability and flexibility. As far as flexibility goes, Magick Archer is no exception, but its more spellcaster-styled nature does mean it can need some aid in keeping its distance from enemy monsters. Much like Mystic Knight, Magick Archer has a wide number of skills that work best when combined with the help of pawns, and its acceptable choices for solo play are much narrower. I will mention that Magick Archer is the class I have the least experience with playing - and even that said, I can totally see why for many players this is a vocation of choice. Of all the hybrids, the Magick Archer had the absolute shortest time fighting the Cursed Dragon, almost exclusively thanks to Immolation + Hundred Kisses ripping its weakpoint to shreds.
The skill I regret taking this time around is Explosive Rivet, as I didn't know how to detonate them aside from with a physical hit, and didn't realize the implication of sticking them in the ground instead of on my target! I probably was playing too strongly to the vocation's "Archer" description, which really shows through when I was fighting the Gorecyclops. I'm generally awful at climbing, and a giant, spiked, 3 story tall monster is the bane of my existence.
