This home workout without gym is an effective way to stay fit and stay in crazy shape. You can perform this 3-4 days a week and you can use to Build Muscle or Lose Fat. If you want to build muscle, you can perform it in conventional bodybuilding fashion i.e. 3 sets for 10-12 reps with rest interval of 1 min between sets. If you want to perform it for Fat Loss , you can do it in form of HIIT. Perform one exercise for 8-10 reps, take 10 seconds rest perform next exercises, and continue till you perform all exercises. Once you do , take a break for 2 mins and repeat it 3-4 times. You can perform this home workout in 20-25 mins and you are done. These are some of the best exercises at home. So today I want to go over the 10 most effective exercises for weight loss that you could do right in your own living room. The exercises that i go over today require no equipment and the reason why theyre more effective than others is because they're going to work mulriple joints and muscle groups at the same time and theyre gonna get your heart rate and your breathing rate up way up. You can combine all of these exercises into one workout simply by using on and off intervals. The training style that I recommend for this type of workout is short intervals. 20 seconds on and then ten seconds off then repeat each exercise for 8 rounds before taking a minute break and moving on to the next. Training in a high intensity way like this will allow you to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. Before I jump into the first one I do have to State the obvious and that's the fact that if you want to lose weight or burn fat you do have to make sure that you're keeping it clean in the kitchen as well. These arent magical exercises that was somehow counterbalance eating junk everyday. But by doing this work out a couple times a week and watching what you eat I'm sure that anyone can lose weight and body fat with these exercises. Let's start with number 1. its a combination of jumping jacks and burpees. Burpees are by far one of the most effective exercises to get your heart rate up while also working your upper and your lower body. Most people know how to do a jumping jack start standing straight up then jump your feet out and raise your arms over your head and you're going to do that 5 times. Then you would perform the burpee by bending your back and lowering yourself down to the ground. As you place your hands on the floor. Next you're going to jump your feet out and get into a push-up position lower yourself down for the push-up then hop your feet back in and jump up. If this is too advanced for you you can walk your feet out one foot at a time instead of hoping. Regardless of whether you're a beginner or advanced the sequence is five jumping jacks one Burpee 5 jumping jacks one Burpee back and forth. Next we have the mountain climber sit through drill. For this one you're going to perform 4 mountain climbers for every two sit throughs. Most people know how to do mountain climbers. These are the same mountain climbers that you've probably done in gym class. Every time that you hop one of your knees up to your chest it counts as one. So you shuffle your feet 4 times and then you do 2 sit throughs. The sit through is done by starting in a pushup postion then lifting one hand off the ground and your opposite leg off the ground. Bring your hand up to your head and kick your opposite leg through as you turn your hips and your body enough for your butt to barely tap the ground. Then return back to the pushup and repeat for the other side. Once you're done with those 2 sit throughs go right back to mountain climbers. Next is the plyo step up. This one is not only great for your footwork, balance, and coordination, but it's also a great exercise to burn a bunch of calories. All you need is a step below knee level. You can use a low chair or even the bottom stair ledge in your house. Start with one foot on the platform, put your weight on that foot & jump up as you switch your feet. Do this back & forth repeating for the full time. I know it doesn't look like much, but like I said you will be breathing heavy after doing this one for 20 seconds straight & especially after eight rounds. If you have knee problems & can't jump up & down you can just alternate stepping up side to side. Moving on to exercise number four the spider man pushup. This one does require a lot of upper body strength so if you're a beginner just stick to regular pushups or you can also do pushups on your knees if regular pushups are too hard. The key with all of these exercises is to perform the exercise in the most intense way that you can & then regress as it gets harder. They're one of the most important muscle groups found in your body without them you wouldn't be able to walk run or jump and you would also have a serious case of flat pancake butt. Nobody wants see a flat butt not guys and not girls so in today's video I'm going to do all the peach loving people of the world a big favor and give you guys the 5 best exercises for a nice looking butt. And if you've been doing your squats and you've been trying your absolute best but your glutes just don't seem to grow give this video chance because I'm going to dive into specific methods you can use to Target your glutes to build a nicer butt so you can fill up those jeans in no time. Let's start with the very first one that everyone knows about and that's barbell squats. But we're not just doing regular barbell squats the best types of squats to work your glutes are deep barbell squats. Getting down nice and low during squats is the secret to building nicer glutes. A lot of people are afraid of going low during squats because of the many myths that exist about how low you're allowed to go. The truth is that as long as you don't have any previous injuries to your knees and your form is correct you can go almost all the way to the ground. This is actually something that trainers call ass to the grass squats. And going nice and low for your squats is a very natural movement for your body. I always bring up this example but before we had toilets we would take a squat every single day and that squat was naturally a deep squat. This is why deep squats are a very natural movement that our bodies have had plenty of time throughout history to adapt to. The problem is if you're not used to squatting a deep squat feels like anything but natural. So it's important that you learn the right way to do it and if you're not used to squatting the best way to start is 2 put a seat or a platform behind you and simply stand facing a mirror and sit down and get back up sit down and get back up. Most people perform a very good squat when they're sitting down but if you tell that same person to squat without a platform behind them they'll start messing it up. After you feel comfortable enough you can get rid of the seat or platform and try to perform regular squats. You would do this by keeping your chest out towards the mirror turning your hips out too kind of exaggerated The Arc in your back leaning back on your heels so take all the pressure off of your toes as you squat keep the pressure on your heels and then just sit back while trying to keep your knees from crossing too far over your toes. Once you're comfortable doing that you can try to put a really short platform on the ground and try to squat down and tap that platform with every rep. Now after you feel like your form is on point you can add the barbell into the movement and you can start incrementally increasing the weight. Remember the key points are to squat low stick your chest out and stick your butt out and stay on your heels as you come down for your squats. Let's move on to the second exercise step-ups but once again we're not doing regular step-ups because regular step-ups don't Target your glutes anywhere near as much as the way that I'm about to show you. You see normally when people are doing step-ups they're actually working their back calf a lot more than they think. Sure they're still going to work their quad and their hamstring a little on that front leg to get up on top of the platform they're stepping up on. However that back calf is taking the pressure off of the glute on the other leg. And this happens because most people will kickoff for every rep when doing this exercise. So to turn this into an exercise that improves your butt I want you to point the toes of your back foot up towards the ceiling the whole time. By pointing your toes towards the ceiling it makes it impossible for you to kick off. So this puts all the stress and work that's required to get your body up that platform on that front leg and that bottom portion of going up without kicking off is going to Target the glutes big time. Dumbbell Weighted Burpees So you have some excess belly fat, that's cool...I can help, but I'm not gonna tell you the same bs that you've probably seen and heard a millions times. I'm not gonna tell you to lie down on the ground and start doing crunches. In fact there's not gonna be a single crunch in this whole video because crunches and abdominal exercises are not what will help you lose belly fat. Let me repeat that crunches and ab exercises will never ever ever be the best exercises for you to lose belly fat. The exercises that I show you today are going to be far better and much more effective at burning fat at a faster rate. Before we get started there's a huge myth that I want to bust especially for the beginners watching this video. It's a myth that you can target a particular area of your body for fat burning. What I mean is that there's no exercise out there that will target specifically belly fat. No such exercise in the world. There are exercises that are better at burning overall body fat, and I'll go over those exercises with you today, but your body is going to pull from fat stores from all different areas. Also unfortunately medial areas of the body like the belly, butt, upper thighs, and love handles are last spots to go. You're likely to lose fat off your face before you start losing it from your belly. Don't worry though as you burn away more and more excess body fat, you eventually start burning fat from those problem areas, and that's when you'll lose the belly fat. The point is to lose belly fat you have to concentrate on losing overall body fat..that's all you can do, and these exercises are the best body fat burning exercises that I know of. So let's get started. As always I will be going over regressions at the end, so if you're a beginner and you can't do some of the exercises don't worry there will be alternatives later. For the first exercise all we need is a platform to step up on. You're going to face the platform sideways at a ninety degree angle, and step up with the foot closest to the platform. As you come up you want to explode off of that foot and hop up & over as you switch your feet. Repeat this 4 times and then immediately hit the ground and perform 4 mountain climbers. Make sure you jump your feet far enough in on the mountain climbers, remember we want to be climbing mountains not anthills. Repeat this cycle of 4 and 4 for 10 reps. You can make this exercise far more effective by adding some dumbbells to the movement. This should definitely get that heart racing. On the next one we're gonna do a mayweather stand up. They're actually called Maywhether situps but I said no crunches, so I'm sticking to it. This exercise has fat burning benefits not because there's a situp involved, but because it's working a lot of large muscles and getting your heart rate high. You're going to get your feet under something that will hold them down and hold a weight directly above your head. Swing the weight toward your feet as you situp, bring the weight out in front of you, and stand up. Squat and sit back down to the floor to repeat the movement for at least 10 reps. Moving on to the next one we have a real leg blasting exercise. You're going to start by lunging backwards and kneeling down on one knee. Bring your other knee back so that you're kneeling on both knees. The same foot that you used to Lunge backwards steps up into a forward lunge. Stand up and bring both feet together shoulder-width apart squat down and jump up as high as you can. As soon as you land backwards lunge now with the other leg and perform the exercise on the other side. If it gets confusing and feels like too many steps you can just stick to doing one side at a time until you get the hang of it. Next we have one that looks really complicated but once you get it its a piece of cake. Try to take it Step by step and remember if you cant do it there will be regressions at the end. Start standing and perform a sprawl. Put your hands on the ground and jump out with your feet wide and elbows locked out while simultaneously dropping your hips, now raise your hips into a downward dog position...pick one hand and your opposite foot off the ground...take your foot and kick it through as you rotate your body. If you're looking to lose body fat and get your abs popping - http://vshred.fit/lowerabexercises Lower abs are typically the hardest part of the abdomen to get showing. Sometimes, this can be due to genetics.. sometimes this can be due to the fact that you just have too much body fat and need to focus on lowering that first.. but then other times, it's because people have the wrong form on their lower ab exercises. So fix the way you do these 5 exercises and watch as your lower abs "magically" start to appear! 1. Reverse Crunches - You want to make sure your starting position is with your thighs perpendicular to the ground. This will cancel out any hip flexor activation and prevent as much momentum as possible. From there, really focus on rolling your butt up off the ground and squeezing with your lower abs. 2. Leg Lift Extensions - With these, again, you want to make sure your legs aren't dropping all the way to the floor as then you would be hitting your hip flexors. For the most part, you want to keep your legs pointed at the ceiling and then extend your lower body up off the ground, creating that curvature of your lower spine and stimulating your lower portion of your abs. 3. Mountain Climbers - These are a well known exercise but also done wrong A LOT. Instead of just jumping back and forth from foot to foot.. You want to really emphasize driving your knee upward as far as possible and crunching at the abs. If you do this right, you should feel a tight squeeze in your abs with each kick. 4. Air Sprints - You will need a dip bar or something to elevate your feet off the ground.. From there you will act as if you are doing an upright mountain climber by driving your knees up to the air while slightly leaning forward to, again, create that curvature in your lower back and engage your lower abs. 5. Ankle To Bars - For this, you will need a pull-up bar or just something to hang from. Most of the time when you see any kind of a leg lift exercise, you see people dropping their legs all the way down.. This is wrong, because this primarily hits your hip flexors which is why your thighs often get tired before your lower abs. Instead, start with your knees bent and out in front of you at 90 degress, curl your knees up and act as if you are touching the front of your ankles to the pull-up bar. Then when you come back down, stop at 90 degrees with your knees. Now if your goal is to find the best exercises to help you lose that belly fat once & for all, but you don't really have access to a gym or any equipment then this video is one that you definitely don't want to miss, because today I'm going over the best exercises to help you burn more fat & lose more weight right in your own home. Let me just first start with the painful truth that most other videos on belly fat won't even talk about. And that's the myth of spot reduction. We can't only reduce fat from our bellies without also reducing fat from other sections of our body. So if we can get your body into a state in which it's burning fat for fuel that means your body will be burning some fat from your thighs, some fat from your love handles, some fat from your face & hands, and some fat from your belly as well. This is the only way & the fastest way to reduce belly fat, by putting ourselves into a state in which our body is burning more overall fat for fuel, and as we lose fat from our whole body we will also lose it from our midsection. So the question becomes how do we put our body into a fat burning state & the best way to do that is to create a larger caloric deficit. And the truth is that exercises like crunches, situps, & leg raises not only do they not target belly fat, again because spot reduction is a myth, but exercises like these also don't use very large muscles & don't involve multiple joints so they don't burn that many overall calories. The only true way to create a larger caloric deficit with exercise is by increasing the calories burnt from each of the exercises we perform as well as each of our overall workouts. This is why I want to give you 5 at home exercises that will burn the most calories in the least amount of time. At the end of the video i'll explain how you can combine these exercises into a high intensity interval training circuit to create a very effective at home workout to help you lose weight & burn faster. Let's start with the very first one which is A combination of a burpee finished off with mountain climbers. Burpees are by far one of the best exercises that you can do with no equipment to burn a lot of calories. This is because of 2 main reasons. 1 burpees will work a lot of muscle groups & multiple joints at the same time. You're essentially going to work your whole body. The second reason burpees burns so many calories is because a lot of these muscles being worked are large. Larger muscles will burn more calories then smaller ones & incorporating more muscles into one movement will burn even more calories. To perform this exercise start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, bend your knees & your back as you lower your hands to the floor. Place your hands to the outside of your feet & jump your feet out into a push-up position. If you can't hop out into a push-up position walk your feet out one at a time. Once in the push-up position lower yourself to the ground & push back up. Next you're going to slightly raise your hips & perform four mountain climbers by bringing your knee into your chest & tapping your foot on the ground alternating legs with each rep. Once you do for you stand up & jump straight up with your hands over your head. Then repeat from the beginning. You'll immediately feel how taxing this exercise is on your body because after you do just a few reps you'll notice that you're breathing pretty heavy. Next we have the dive bomber with two sit throughs. Dive bombers are excellent at working your upper body especially the chest shoulders & triceps & sit throughs are great at making you breath nice & heavy. You want to start this exercise in a downward dog position which looks like you're in a push-up position except with your hips really high up towards the ceiling. From this position you want to lower yourself to the ground for what looks like an inclined push-up. As you near the of the movement & your chest comes closer to the ground you want to drop your hips to the ground & press your upper body up so you wind up in what looks like a cobra stretch. I mean after all if we can focus on the best exercises then we can get faster development of our six pack abs. Luckily ACE also known as the American Council on exercise conducted a study that tested out different ab movements & found which ones produced the best results. Ive been recommending certain ab exercises over others for a while now & its nice to see that every one of the exercises that they said work best are ones that I've been advocating for quite a while. This study was conducted several years ago but it's a fairly in-depth study comparing 13 different exercises. The researchers primarily looked at muscle stimulation & activity & ranked the exercises from best to worst. So let's jump right in with the top 6 best of the bests starting with number 6. The long arm crunch, this is one that I talk about all the time, & I highly recommend that you try it with a weight. The long arm crunch primarily focuses on working the rectus abdominus which is the muscle that most of us refer to as the six pack. You can do it without a weight but I recommend taking a moderately heavy weight load & pointing it straight to the ceiling. I recommend using a heavy weight because another 2009 study published in the journal of physical therapy in sport found that using weights for your abs can greatly increase stimulation of the rectus abdominus. Also using weights for your ab exercises allows you to progressively overload your abs just by upping the weight over time which is a necessary factor for any of your muscles to grow. So back to the long arm crunch you want to crunch up just enough to lift your shoulder blades up off the ground & then come back down while keeping your arms pointed straight towards the ceiling the whole time. It won't take much to feel the burn from this exercise, but this is an exercise that I usually recommend doing a dropset with. Meaning you would do ten to twenty reps of weighted long arm crunches & then immediately drop the weight & perform twenty more reps with only your body weight & your hands stacked on top of eachother. If your wondering about the exact number of sets to do this exercise & the other exercises that Im about to talk about stayed tuned because at the end i'll give you an excellent ab workout that includes these top 6 movements. But moving on next up on the list ranking as the 5th best exercise for six pack abs we have the ab roll out & the torso track. These are both pretty much the same exercise except one is done with an ab wheel while the other one is done on a slipper track. This is one that you probably won't be doing with weights, but by training yourself to roll out further over time you can gradually put more stress on your abs allowing you to progressively overload your abs over time. To start this exercise get on all fours with your arms locked out the ab wheel directly under your chest. As a beginner do not roll out all the way because you can hurt your back. Once you get comfortable as a beginner sit your hips back to give you some leverage. Once your ready you can proceed to more advanced levels where you roll all the way out to the point where your body winds up being almost flat on the ground at the end of the movement. This is one of my favorite ab exercises & not a lot of reps are needed to break down a lot of muscle tissue & get stronger. Next we have the vertical leg crunch, but I usually refer to this exercise as the reverse crunch. Same exercise just different terminology. To perform this exercise start with legs straight up towards the ceiling & your hands either folded across your chest or preferably behind the head. Once again lift your shoulder blades up off the ground just enough and then lower back down. This is once again another exercise that I recommend progressing with weights as soon as possible. Once ready for a weight i recommend using a dumbbell & holding the dumbbell across your chest or putting the dumbbell behind your head to make it more intense. Today I want to go over 8 of the best exercises that are going to help you develop a wider back faster, and I'm also going to go over certain training techniques that you should incorporate, to make your back bigger in terms of both width and thickness. At the end I'll also show you how many sets and reps you'll need to do to incorporate these exercises into a workout. As we go through these keep in mind that to effectively build a bigger back you'll want to do 3 things for all of these exercises. First you need to concentrate on actually targeting your back instead of your biceps, triceps, or forearms. It will take some time develop the neuromuscular connection between your brain and your back, but for all of these exercises you're going to want to try to pull the weight with your elbows not your hands, and really squeeze your back with each rep as if you're trying to hold a pencil in between your shoulder blades. Second you'll need to progressively overload all of these exercises over time. The best way to do that is by trying to always incrementally increase the weight load you're using for all your back exercises as you get stronger. And the third thing you'll want to do is come to full extension and get a really good stretch at the negative portion of all your pulling movements. Now, let's start with the first exercise, the long angle dumbbell row. This is a variation of a regular dumbbell row and even though it's extremely effective, it's a shame that most people don't even know this exercise exists. To perform this exercise start by leaning against something lower than waist level. You want to bend down until your back is almost parallel with the ground. Grab a dumbbell with your other hand in a neutral position and let it hang straight down. Pull your shoulder blades back and stick your chest out to maintain a neutral spine. Now instead of pulling the dumbbell in towards your belly button like you would a regular row, I want you to aim to pull the dumbbell back towards your hips, like you're trying to put the dumbbell in your pocket, and then bring it back down to the hanging position and repeat for reps. This is going to take your biceps almost completely out of the movement and put all the tension on your back, your lats, and the back of your shoulder. Keep in mind you'll need to use a lighter weight then you would with regular dumbbell rows. I know that you might have never seen this exercise before, but trust me try it, you'll be feeling parts of your back working that you never knew existed. Next up are close grip and wide grip pullups. Both grips will provide unique benefits for your back. A wide grip will recruit much more of your lower lats and it'll take a lot of your bicep strength out of the movement. To start you'll want to grab a pullup bar with your hands facing away from you, and your grip set fairly wider than your shoulders so that you're body resembles a "Y" shape. Next, hang straight down so that your arms are fully extended. While keeping your chest out and your shoulders pulled back pull yourself up concentrating on pulling up with your elbows until your chin clears the bar. Try to think about keeping your elbows behind you the whole way up, and squeeze at the top before lowering yourself back down to a fully extended position and repeating for reps. With close grip pull ups everything remains the same except you'll want to grab the bar with your hands set shoulder width apart or even a little closer together. Because you're taking a closer grip you'll be able to incorporate more of your biceps and a little bit of your pecs into the exercise allowing you to do more reps or more weight. It'll also help you hit your inner lats. Remember to strap weight to your body once you start getting stronger, and if pullups are too difficult for you right now then you can use resistance bands to assist you on your way up. Moving on we have the standing cable pullover. Here you'll want to set your cable cross machine at its highest point and grab a straight bar with a grip about 6 inches wider than shoulder width. Keep your arms straight and a maintain a slight bend at your elbows. Bend forward to give yourself a longer range of motion, and step back with the weight to remove all slack. While keeping your shoulder blades back and your arms straight, bring the bar down until it meets your hips, then control it on the way back up and repeat for reps....
