16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:28
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! 10 Mistakes and Secrets You Never Knew About Famous Logos

08:25
You’d think that the most successful companies in the world invest good money for their logos to be picture-perfect, yet even Google isn’t immune to messing up a logo design. Pay attention to 10 super famous company logos that are hiding something or have design fails and mistakes in them. We all know what the White House looks like, and you’d think there’d be no possible difficulties recreating it in an image. However, there were at least 3 attempts to create a logo, all of which resulted in mistakes. Wikipedia’s logo representing knowledge has a really embarrassing mistake right in the middle of the image! You wouldn’t catch it unless you know Chinese, so we’ll let you in on the big secret. Some people saw a man bending over vomiting in the London Olympics logo, while others were joking that it looked like Lisa Simpson in a compromising position. Salvador Dali hired to design the Chupa Chups logo put the brand’s name on a bright daisy and insisted that the logo be placed on top of the wrapper so that everyone could see it. And it’s basically stayed the same since then! When asked about the imperfection of letter “G” in their logo, Google chose the best route a person can when explaining his or her mistakes. They simply said that they’re aware of the inaccurate “G”, but that was all part of the plan! This slight imperfection makes their image playful and approachable. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS The White House 0:38 Wendy’s 1:29 Wikipedia 2:20 Hershey’s Kisses 3:28 The London Olympics 3:54 7-Eleven 4:42 Chupa Chups 5:17 Walt Disney 6:01 Pepsi 6:47 Google 7:17 SUMMARY -The designers of the White House’s logo made mistakes depicting the arch shape, mixed up the order of the windows and even lost pillars on the roof. -You might see nothing special in Wendy’s white and blue striped collar, but a closer look will reveal the word “mom” right in the center. -Wikipedia logo’s designer meant to write the Chinese word “wi”, but one tiny yet extra stroke made the symbol gibberish. -Lean your head towards your left shoulder, and you’ll get a sweet surprise: a chocolate kiss between the “K” and “I”. -Iranian participants in the London Olympic Games were upset by the peculiar style of the numbers 2012 because they read the word “Zion” in it. -All the letters in the word “eleven” in 7-Eleven logo are capitalized, except for one: the “n”. -The creator of Chupa Chups Spaniard Enric Bernat picked the most famous surrealist artist in the world Salvador Dali himself to design the new brand logo. -Those elegant swirls in the “W”, “i” and “y” in Disney logo look exactly like three sixes in a row. -If you wanna see what Pepsi can potentially do to you, just add a little circle on top of its logo, some arms and legs, and voila. -The letter “G” in Google logo doesn’t look the way it should. It’s not the complete perfect circle it’s supposed to be, and the inner circle is also far from ideal. 9 Products That Look Extremely Different in Other Countires

06:20
Large companies often change the names of the same goods from country to country. If you find yourself looking for a product in a foreign store for hours with no luck, it may be distributed "under a pseudonym" in this country. Bright Side invites you to find out which world-famous brands change their names in other countries and the reasons they have for doing it. As for me, Twix is the biggest surprise on this list! Other videos you might like: 12 Hidden Symbols In Famous Logos You Had No Idea About https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_haR9O38X1U& This Test Will Show How Good Your Memory Is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtGYIGimhzA& 12 Facts About Famous Logos You Didn’t Know https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMmwAV1uzJ4 TIMESTAMPS: Burger King 0:54 Axe 1:26 Danone 2:00 Rexona 2:39 Mr. Clean 3:08 Crest 4:03 Dove 4:34 Lay’s 4:58 Twix 5:27 SUMMARY: - Before entering the Australian market, the company’s executives found out that there already exists a brand with the same name. Therefore, Burger King invented a new name for Australia: Hungry Jack’s. - The Unilever company founded Axe in France in 1983, but in some countries, the name had been already “occupied” by other brands. The company took the name Lynx to distribute their product in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and China. - When entering the US market, company executives decided to make the brand name more “American”: Dannon. The former name was wrongly pronounced by Americans, who divided it into two words: “dan” and “one.” - The record holder for the number of renames is the brand Mr. Clean. In almost every large country, this cleaning agent has its own name. - Procter&Gamble has been manufacturing Crest toothpaste since 1955. In Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia, and some other countries it has another name: Blend-a-med. - You can buy Dove chocolate in most countries all over the world, yet the same product in the UK, Egypt, and India is called Galaxy. - Walkers was founded in the UK in 1948. In 1989, PepsiCo, the producer of Lay’s chips, purchased Walkers. After that, the British chips changed design but kept the same name: Walkers. - This chocolate bar was originally called Raider and was first produced in the UK in 1967. In 1979, the product was imported to the USA under the name Twix. Yet in many European countries, it’s still sold under the brand name Raider. Hidden Meanings of 10 Popular Logos

03:10
Our next video provides you with hidden messages of 10 unique and popular logos of companies. Be sure to subscribe to this channel for more interesting and informational videos. Follow Us on FB: https://www.facebook.com/borelagyoent/ 1. Amazon The giant online store aptly takes on the name Amazon to convey its wide store directory. This is further hinted by the arrow linking the ‘A’ to ‘Z’ to say that they have everything from ‘A’ to ‘Z’. Which should be able to satisfy you, hence the dual meaning of the arrow being a smile. 2. FedEx The shipping company’s logo seem like a simple one with only its name. However if you take a second look at the space between the ‘E’ and the ‘X’, you would notice an arrow. With it so perfectly placed there, it is no wonder that the arrow represents speed and percision. 3. Sony VAIO VAIO is Sony’s brand line for its laptops. The logo is not just a sylized brand name but refers to turning analog waves into a digital form too. The analog waves are represented in the ‘V’ and ‘A’. ‘I’ and ‘O’ on the other hand can also refer to 1 and 0, which are the two digits used in binary code, the digital. 4. Toblerone Chocolate again! Toblerone’s logo is lot more complex than Hershey’s. Look closely at the mountain and you’ll be able to spot a bear. The reason for this is because the Swiss chocolate company originated from the city of Bern, Switzerland which is also known as the City of Bears. 5. NBC NBC was once known as the Peacock Network when the bird was first used as its logo in 1956. The peacock has now evolved to this with its 6 colored tail representing the departments; News, Sports, Entertainment, Stations, Networks, and Productions. Additionally, the peacock is depicted facing right to show that the television network is looking towards the future. 6. Apple The Apple logo is derived from the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible. The bitten apple represents the fruit from the “Tree of Knowledge”. 7. IBM IBM’s logo has a hidden message for the whole world hidden in the Big Blue logo that represents it’s company. The white lines passing through give the appearance of the equal sign in the lower right corner, representing equality. 8. AUDI Many have wondered what the four circles in this automaker’s logo mean. Well the four circles represent the 4 companies that were a part of the Auto-Union Consortium in 1932, namely, DKW, Horch, Wanderer and Audi. 9. Mercedes Mercedes’ tri-star represents the companies dominance over land, sea and air. 10. Toyota There are three ellipses visible in the company’s logo. Each ellipse represents the heart of the customer, the heart of the product and the heart of technological progress.
Carl's Jr. and Hardee's - Why Two Different Names?

10:33
When looking at the logos or the menus it's clear that Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are related in some way. So what's going on? Do they have the same owners? If so, why the different names? This video answers those questions and tells the unique story of both restaurants. What is Branding?

02:55
I’ve come across a number of people over the years who’ve bigged themselves up as branding experts and gurus who can help build brands. And while some of them have been alright at what they do, most of them are still just confused; these are the ones that believe that they can help you design a logo and a website and a strapline and call it your brand. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude… YOUR LOGO IS NOT YOUR BRAND Businesses should have a logo and that logo should be placed everywhere and I mean everywhere, but this is NOT your brand. YOUR BRAND IS NOT YOUR WEBSITE Your website itself should be built in a way that communicates what you want it to say to your customers, but your website is NOT your brand. A STRAPLINE IS NOT A BRAND While having a tagline is important to your brand strategy, It is supposed to communicate the essence of your brand or what you want consumers to think about you, but yup…you guessed it…your strapline is NOT your brand. I see it on Dragons Den all the time some poor suka comes in and they say oh I like your branding, I’m like how the fuck do you know their brand? all you’ve seen is their logo and some mock up packaging. Small business and startups are watching this and thinking that’s all they need to get their business going. Branding is from the way you answer the phone to the way you conduct sales. Your brand is who your customers think you are before they have even met you, and you basically have no control over this. You can try to manage your brand image, you can try to manage what people think about you, but bottom line is, it’s up to them. So how can a small businesses and start-up cut through the same old shit that’s out there and position themselves to have people perceive them as a kick ass brand? A New Tasty Brand

01:11
Inspired by Constructivism and Bauhaus the new TT logo and brand theme is simple and vibrant. See more here: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1266171456806526&id=145587595531590 THE BRAND THEME: Clean, simple and kinetic. Representative of how we construct knowledge and meaning from our experiences. The vernacular is established through growing letterforms developed from a 5x5 grid. To be used on screen presentations, decorative elements and merch. The letterforms can overlap to create interesting graphic colour compositions or interact to create dynamic letterforms and grids. THE LOGO: The new logo is a simple bold monogram including two T’s as an acronym. The Two contrasting T’s represent the nature of the content and the spirit of the channel. The first T is consistent, purist and serious, where the other is more playful, wacky and creative. The two T’s bring you some of the best, unique and quality design content on Youtube. Together they are TastyTuts!

10 Secrets Hidden Inside Famous Logos 2018

04:14
Branding nowadays is absolutely everywhere you look. We are constantly bombarded with so many icons and logos that we rarely stop to look further into them, but there are some very interesting and bizarre secrets hiding within these 10 famous logos! 1. Hyundai Bet you think the H logo is just the first letter of the South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai? Of course you do! But it actually represents two figures: the happy client shaking hands with the Hyundai salesman, cleverly projecting the subliminal message of a successful car purchase. 2. Apple It was Rob Janoff who was tasked with creating the apple logo back in 1977. Janoff bought a bag of apples and spent the week sketching them, trying to represent the perfect angle where the fruit couldn´t be mistaken for a cherry. This was when he added a bite mark and stumbled across the similarity between Bite and Byte. This was definitely a selling point for Steve Jobs. 3. Vaio The first two letters in the computer company's name symbolize a digital waveform and the io is designed to look like a 1 and a 0, representing binary and the mix of analog and digital. Also the melody that sounds on startup actually derives from the dialtone sounds on a telephone keypad on typing V-A-I-O 4. Amazon Always aiming to please, Amazon designed their logo to represent a smile, projecting a sense of satifaction in their brand. Not only that, but the arrow also starts at ´a´ and finishes at 'z' implying that the company stocks every product you could possibly desire. 5. Toyota T-o-y-o-t-a. All the letters of the companies name can be found within the logo. But what does it represent? You're thinking A big strong buffalo's head or a cowboy with a hat, right? Wrong! It actually represents a needle and thread! This Japanese car manufacturer actually began making weaving machines and keeps its logo to this day! 6. Continental Sometimes overlooked, the continental logo is simple and clever. The first two letters are designed to symbolize a car wheel. 7. Toblerone This awkward-to-eat chocolate treat doesn't just have a simple mountain in its logo. Toblerone is made in Bern, Switzerland, so it´s no surprise to see one of the Swiss alps in its logo. But it also hides a secret bear hidden in the mountain, as Bern is known as the city of bears and the bear symbol is heavily decorated throughout the city. 8. BMW The German motor company started out making airplanes in 1916 and many think that the checker pattern in its logo represents the spinning propellers of an airplane. But it is actually just the design of the Bavarian flag, the part of Germany where the company originated. 9. Domino's Pizza In 1960 College dropout Tom Monaghan borrowed $900 to by a tiny pizza placed called Dominic's. 5 years later he bought 2 more locations. The former owner refused Tom the permission to use his name in the franchise so Tom turned it into Domino's. The dice in the logo represent the first restaurant that he bought, followed by the next two, and he had planned on adding numbers on every new opening. That was before he realized how big the franchise would become. 10. Unilever Who is Unilever, right? It's actually a huge corporation which owns over 400 famous brands. You've only got to look on the back of any of these popular products to find their logo hiding there. (Axe, Lipton, Ben and Jerry's, Dove, Heartbrand, Hellman's) But that's not all, the actual unilever logo is made up of 25 smaller logos, each with a rich meaning. A strand of hair or an icecream representing various brands, to more obscure references, like this bee... Which of these logos surprised you the most? Comment Below!

10 Famous Logos With Hidden Meanings

05:26
How much do you know about the logos of your favorite brands? Come, let’s find out! 10. Adidas The company’s logo has changed over time, but has always retained the three stripes. The current log is with three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. The triangle symbolizes a mountain, which represents the challenges all athletes have to face. 9. Toyota Over the years, people have argued that the logo of the Japanese car-producer Toyota looks similar to the image of a cowboy wearing a hat. Contrary to the views, it actually represents a stylized image of the eye of a needle with a thread passed through it. This represents the company’s humble past when it used to produce weaving machines. At the same time, the individual parts of the logo also spell out the letters of the company’s name. 8. Pinterest The logo of the popular social media site Pinterest, used by people to collect images they like from across net and ’pin’ them to their online notice board, has the image of a pin hidden in the letter P. 7. Toblerone Toblerone, the famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, includes a silhouette of a bear in its logo, to signify that Bern is fondly called as the city of bears. 6. Baskin-Robbins If looked upon carefully, the pink-colored areas of the "BR" part of the logo make up the number 31. Interestingly, Baskin-Robbins used to famously sell 31 different flavors of ice cream. 5. LG The logo of the South Korean electronics company LG is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to maintain ordinary, human relations with its customers. 4. BMW t’s often supposed that the central part of the BMW logo symbolizes the rotating blades of an airplane, in line with the company’s early history of aviation technology, but it is in fact simply a part of the Bavarian flag — the area of Germany where the company originated. 3. Formula 1 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes in the Formula 1 logo, you can see the number 1. The red stripes of the logo are also meant to be a graphical representation of the speed achieved by Formula 1 cars. 2. Coca-Cola In the world-famous logo of the Coca-Cola Company, in the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, one can clearly see the Danish flag. Purely a coincidence, the company has nevertheless used this as part of it’s marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. 1. Pepsi It’s hard to believe, but Pepsi paid over a million dollars to create this special logo with its secret meanings. The new special design hints at mysterious and secretive themes, such as the Earth’s magnetic field, Feng shui, Pythagoras, geodynamics, the theory of relativity, and the golden ratio. The designer has explained that this logo also makes reference to the Mona Lisa, the Parthenon, and even René Descartes. The red, white and blue colors have always represented the American flag. Brand-Elevation - Putting Chocolate on a Pedestal

01:54
Maison Du Chocolat uses language and rituals associated with fine jewelry rather than chocolaterie to elevate its brand. JP shows how MDC literally puts its product on pedestals, handles it with gloves and packs it in precious boxes, so the treat can be truly treasured. Using unique language or adopting one of another, elevated category is just one of many ways modern prestige brands 'behold the product' and take it 'ueber'. Above and beyond. For a full review of this techniques read this case study: https://wp.me/p2Ecu8-eB To understand all the principles of Ueber-Branding, read JP and Wolf Schaefer's book "Rethinking Prestige Branding" and visit the blog and podcast at www.ueberbrands.com. Vornado Logo Design, Brand Identity and Brand Packaging

01:52
We developed Vornado's Brand Promise, a new strategic brand identity and retail packaging identity that changed Vornado's future. The solution came in radical simplicity and a revolutionary anti-branding information architecture. We even re-named all of Vornado's products the same name for each product category and developed a new universal tagline for each product category. Crazy simple. Insanely simple. All the air circulator products are now called 'Whole Room Air Circulator" which is the brands "unique relevant benefit". This also allowed us to position Vornado as the original--leaving the competition to imitator status. Plus, we made the package design communication ultra clear by fully explaining what an air circulator is and what it means relative to a fan with the tagline, The tagline reads, "The fan that circulates all the air." Now Vornado's brand and brand packaging is differentiated from competitors and clearly positions Vornado as the definitive category leader and innovator. It's so simple and so clear it dominates the retail shelf. Until this new brand packaging Vornado failed for years to gain space on Target's lucrative retail shelves. With this new packaging, they not only got on the shelves but, according to Mark Zarich Director of Sales at Vornado the buyer actually said, "The packaging was the best in category." The brand packaging is selling so well Vornado has doubled their SKU's. The package is built as a sequential graphic design structure with each panel leading to the other building one concept on the previous. The graphic blue strip on the front right edge with the cut out arrow encourages turning the package to the blue panel which explains how Vornado circulates all the air. The graphic green strip with the cut out arrow on the blue panel encourages turning the package to the green panel which explains how whole room air circulation saves energy and money and makes a room more comfortable. The graphic black strip with the cut out arrow on the green panel encourages turning the package to the black panel which list benefits. The front panel states and explains Vornado's "unique relevant benefit" while all the other panels support that assertion. It was all developed out of the 'Brand Promise" and that's what we mean when we say strategic graphic design. What we developed with and for Vornado was, "Intelligent. Superior engineering. Innovation". From this we created the new brand packaging identity which Target said was the best packaging in the category and it got Vornado on Target shelves for the first time in their long history. Relatively the same products just different brand strategy and packaging. We didn't just say they were "Intelligent. Superior engineering. Innovation" but we designed an intelligent and innovative package and branding that showed superior engineering. The contextual approach, brand strategy, logo and graphic design embody the brand promise. Insight Design Communications is a breakthrough brand design studio with extensive experience in brand packaging. Client: Vornado. Work: Logo Design, Brand Promise, Brand Strategy and Architecture, Brand Guide or Corporate Identity Brand Manual, Brand Packaging for all categories; Wholeroom Air Circulator, Wholeroom Heaters, Wholeroom Humidifiers, Wholeroom Personal Air Circulators or Fans and Wholeroom Air Purifiers. Brand Product Brochure and Brand Story Brochure and Vornado Trade Show Graphic Design. This logo design and brand identity will be visible throughout the United States and in cities like Kansas City, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas, Dallas, Texas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Denver, Colorado, New York, New York, Los Angeles, California, and Europe and Asia.

Brand vs Logo

01:19
Many individuals confound brand and logo. Brand doesn't generally have much to do with logo. I did like to clarify this with a case, on the off chance that you are some outsider looking down on earth, the brand would be humans and rivers, oceans, fun, sadness and everything that incorporates that. The logo would be Earth. Presently everyone has a logo and everybody can control there logo and almost make the logo they want, whether it's a decent one or not. In any case, not everybody truly has the branding that they need to have or not everybody can genuinely truly impart the brand message they need to. This is the point at which we become an integral factor. We take a look at your buyer, we take a look at your customer, we take a look at who you are and what you need to impart to them. We set up this together and the objective is to put that minor little bundle into that logo so when they take a look at this logo, they feel all of it. In any case, everything else that is made from you, from your website, your content, your video, your photography, they all need to sit on that very fine line and match identical. https://twelve12.com/
