How to Set Up The Product Listing Ads Feed For Google Shopping

09:38
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESadwords In this video I'm gonna show you how to set up your Google Merchant Center account but more importantly this is going to be your product listing ads feed and how to set it up the first step of which is to set up your your Merchant Center account. So we'll click on I just googled Merchant Center click on that click sign up from here select our country and put United States because that's where I'll locate it out of asana yoga pants' website URL is going to be awesome new yoga pants' calm on me go ahead and copy that put it in here put your name I'm gonna unclick all this kind of stuff at a different contact for no we don't need all that just go ahead and click that click yes continue you're going to have to basically claim your URL and the problem was I thought I could do it through Google Analytics you cannot you have to do this HTML file upload and to do that basically you download this file and Shopify you're going to go to your settings files upload it there. So just click upload it'll give you this little URL take that URL and then go to online store navigation and then you our URL redirects you're going to add a URL redirect paste that in there oops paste paste this part in here from from this and then the long thing that we had in that last slide you paste it in here add your URL redirect I already did it I actually did it for a different different which Michalek account. You can see it there. So the next step after this is actually getting your product feet and you can see feeds here right now we don't have any feed. So let me show you how to do that. So to do that you're going to go back here we're going to go down to apps and depending on what platform you want you're on it's at this stage Shopify is a little bit different than a lot of the other ones let's go ahead and visit Shopify app store search I believe it's called the Google shopping up oops the Google Shopping app will click on this click get stall app at which point you're going to click sign into your Google account let's go ahead I went ahead and signed in and then just click allow then you're going to get the number. So let's say the account ID number is right up here I'll go to type it in one one zero eight three three zero five four copy that put it in here confirm your account we're going to go to settings website verification I believe that's already done I already showed you how to do that Google Analytics is easy way easiest way if you don't have an account setup unit or with instructions here. I'm going to click test your domain the next step is after you've got that I had to fix something with my domain settings but it's pretty easy to fix next follow these instructions basically and this is going to be creating the shipping method and I'll go ahead and do this. So we're going to click plus shipping method I'm going to call this free shipping because in my store everything's going to be free shipping you'll want to match whatever let's say the transit time is two to five days and zero dollars go ahead and click Save test shipping rates alright it took a second to update. So choose a collection I'm going to call it homepage or I could just do all products maybe I'll do all products just make it easier and then click publish. So now the products are being published to Google. So this might happen to you. So I'll show you really quick I I was stopped because I had some errors. So let's see what the errors are and it's probably going to be if you haven't done this before the error is in setting up the product category. So the Google and the GTIN is missing but start with the product category. So let's say work out clothing. So we have a few different ones here we have clothing apparel and accessories like active wear. So this is we're probably going to be around here clothing active wear.

Set Up Merchant Promotions - AdWords In Under Five Minutes

03:36
Google AdWords is now Google Ads. Click here to learn more about our new advertising brand: blog.google/technology/ads/new-advertising-brands/ Learn how to set up Merchant Promotions so that you can display Special Offer Links under your Product Listing Ads! 00:00 Hi everyone, I’m Spencer from the AdWords team and this is AdWords In Under 5 Minutes. This video will teach you all you need to know about Merchant Promotions! Let’s get started! 00:20 With Merchant Promotions you can distribute your online promotions with your Shopping Ads on Google.com and Google Shopping. Online promotions are shown along with Shopping Ads as "special offer" links. The goal of Merchant Promotions is to provide an added value to what is displayed on Shopping Ads for Google shoppers. 00:37 Promotions can come in a variety of forms, including percentage discounts and money-off offers. 00:43 There are a few important requirements to having merchant promotions. First you must have a Merchant Center account with a data feed of products. And second, you must have completed this form. If you haven’t yet filled it out, click the link here to do so. 1:00 It’s also important to remember that the promotion you are planning to run must meet the following requirements: It should be limited to six months. It must be redeemable at the checkout of point of purchase. A promotion cannot be a reduction or mark down in price. And a promotion for free shipping must include a voucher code. 1:21 Now that we know exactly how to apply for promotions and what requirements they must meet, we can walk through how to apply them to your Merchant Center account. 1:30 There are two main ways you can submit promotions. The first way is with the +Promotion Tool. This is great if you only have a few promotions to add. To do this, navigate to the ‘Promotions section’ from the left navigation bar in your merchant dashboard. Select ‘+Promotions’ in the top left corner. From here you can fill in the specific promotion details and click save. 1:53 The second option is a Promotions feed. This method is useful for merchants who have many promotions. You’ll submit a data feed of your promotions with six attributes: (1) The promotion ID, which must be a unique number for this promotion, (2) Product applicability, which indicates whether this promotion is for all products or just specific products, (3) the offer type, meaning is there a coupon code needed for this promotion? (4) The long title of the promotion which is a maximum of 60 characters, (5) The promotion effective dates, meaning the start and end date, and (6) the redemption channel, which must be labelled as ‘Online’. 02:38 Once you upload your Promotions feed, it will be reviewed for 24-48 hours. After the review process, the promotion will either be Approved, Rejected or Stopped. If the promotion is rejected, hover your mouse over the speech bubble and this will provide you with a detailed disapproval reason and ways to fix the issue. 2:58 Once you make corrections, simply re-upload the feed. And now you are all set to start using merchant promotions! 3:04 Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and if you have any questions you can post them in the comment section below. If you have further questions you can find us on social media, discuss this in the AdWords community, chat to an online specialist, or pick up the phone and give us a call. Thanks for tuning in!

How to add GTIN (EAN,MPN,UPC,ISBN) to products and make feed - WooCommerce Product Feed

17:52
To add GTIN (EAN, MPN, UPC, ISBN) you have to use any custom field plugin. But you need our premium plugin to use custom field data for product feed. There is a popular free plugin called WC Field Factory. Using this plugin you can add GTIN or others information to your products both on frontend and backend. You have to make 2 group of the custom fields. One group for All type of products without variations so the fields will be available under General Tab and another is only for variations to add fields under Variations tab. After that, you have to map variations custom fields with other products custom field by making a Dynamic Attribute. Watch the video tutorial above to learn how to add GTIN (EAN, MPN, UPC, ISBN) to your products and use for product feed.

Selling to 4 Types of Site Visitors (i ching) - Merchant Maneuvers Ep. 2

03:07
Here are the links to the apps mentioned in the video: - Coach: Just message Coach and say "hi" to start your free training https://m.me/connectwithcoach/ - Raven Call Back for Shopify: https://apps.shopify.com/raven (launching April 11...) - Scout for Shopify: https://apps.shopify.com/scout-cart-recovery Episode 2: Four Types of Ecommerce Site Visitors The “i ching” is one of the oldest books in history and has been considered a source of wisdom for over 3,000 years. It uses eight trigrams to understand the stages of life. In this episode we’ll interpret the trigrams to understand your 4 types website visitors. Each Trigram is comprised of Yin and Yang. Yin is passive or emptiness, and Yang is active or fullness. In our example, we will treat Yin as indifference to, and Yang as excitement of, a product’s benefits. Each trigram also has three stages. We will view them as Past, Present, and Future. Trigrams are made up of 1 of 4 forms of the Yin and Yang. These four forms also make up the four types of website visitors. The Major Yang, which are your “Yes” visitors The Major Yin, which are your “No” visitors The Minor Yin, which are your “Maybe No” visitors The Minor Yang, which are your “Maybe Yes” visitors In the Major Yang, the customer in the past has known about the benefits of the product, and also presently acknowledges the benefits while on your website. Products that solve Real problems have many “Yes” visitors. The product has great market fit, and merchants don’t need to rely on conversion tactics. A visitor’s natural action is to click “add to cart” and most likely complete their purchase. In the Major Yin, visitors didn’t care, and still don’t. This visitor is a “No” customer, and trying to convince them to purchase will be difficult. Conversion tactics won’t help. Their natural action is to close the window. The product simply doesn’t solve a big enough problem for them. Stores that drive lots of traffic but have very low sales numbers fall here and Merchants should try to find a new product niche, or connect with Coach (link in the description) to learn more. In the Minor Yin, the customer in the past acknowledged the product value, but maybe isn’t quite sure at the moment. These “Maybe No” visitors are attracted to your product and might take a positive action, but are likely to abandon their checkout because of concerns. Re-targeting apps can help but I’d also recommend a “call back request” app like Raven. A button like a “call back request” is important here because, it gives a “Maybe” customer a Positive Alternative Option rather than to close the window. Finally, in the Minor Yang, the visitor wasn’t aware of the product or benefits, but recently sees the value. These visitors make up the “Maybe Yes” category. They’re looking for more reasons to buy, but because it feels new to them they have natural questions. The Raven and Scout apps can help convert sales by identifying these kinds of customers. What’s important here is these visitors have the potential to become great customers if provided with an awesome post-sale experience... like a free surprise pizza. So to recap: being aware of the four types of visitors helps identify product-market fit. And helping and educating the “Maybe No” and “Maybe Yes” visitors is the first step in growing sales.

How to Map Google Shopping Categories in DataFeedWatch?

Google Product Category is what Google looks at, among others, when matching a search query to a product listing ad. Although it is important, most merchants find it difficult and will settle for the broadest category. The benefits of Google product category lie in getting as close as possible to the sub-category that matches best a certain product type. How to Set Up A Google Shopping Campaign To Create Product Listing Ads

06:32
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESstarting In this module we're going to talk about product listing ads which is one of my favorite types of ads it's one of my favorite types of PPC ads it's actually one of my favorite types a ways to get traffic to my website. So let's talk about some product listing ads. So first off why product listing ads well they're made for e-commerce and I mean this right here you can see why they have a price underneath a product it's just it's perfect for e-commerce it signals a strong buying intent when someone's looking at a regular text ad AdWords ad they may be just searching for more information they might be looking for a hundred different things but with these it's more likely to be people that are ready to buy it has the price underneath it has the picture it really signals that hey if someone's clicking on this they're committing to buying something or they're at least more likely to be interested in buying something. So what are PLA is I kind of already showed you but let's make it very obvious here these are PLA s and as you can see its images with underneath it you have the title of what's in there. So if you look at the first one it's yellow dance pants and then the price underneath there. So this is $31.99. And then ultimately underneath that it has the websites Bdancewear.com my website. So once again these product listing ads are great for converting people because some of those clicking on one of these is much more likely to buy compared that with like a regular text ad below. So this one that says yellow dance pants sale someone might click on that because they're interested in and buying actually this one they probably would because it does say sale and all that kind of stuff but generally speaking text ads when someone clicks on it they're much more likely to be interested in learning and gathering information in general when you go to Google nine times out of you're probably interested in information and text ads when you click on a text ad it's probably because you're looking for information when you click on a regular Google search result most people are looking for information once again product listing ads they have a price underneath them people in the click on them are much more likely to buy. That's what product listing ads are. So let's start talking about them a little bit more and specifically on how to set them up. So the first thing you need to do is get your Google merchant account that's really easy to do I mean if you signed up for Gmail before or Facebook then you can definitely do this actually I guess I should say before you sign up your Google merchant account you need to have a Gmail account but that's step yeah to have AdWords you obviously need to have a Gmail account. So the next thing is to actually set up your feed and we'll talk about this in just a second and I'm going to show you step-by-step how to do this and I will believe lesson two. So you can watch that. So the second step is setting up the feed then after that is setting up the ads in AdWords and I have lesson where I show you step-by-step how to do that as well I'll show you the screen recording on what to do it's fairly simple it's actually it's a little bit complicated a little bit simple now but I'll show you how to do it in and then it will become very simple. So there's two ways to set up your feet the first one is with a manual txt file you can open this up in Excel and you can manipulate it just like you would a excel file or CSV or something like that it's a little bit ugly there's some benefits we'll talk about in a second for doing it this way but the other way you can do it is V an automatic feed and there's different apps that work with Shopify that plug-in from Shopify into Google same thing with Volusion has an automatic feed and BigCommerce does as well I believe WordPress does is well with Moo commerce though. So there's some advantages to the automatic feed obviously it's automatic which makes it a little bit easier there's also some disadvantages.

Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada's Carbon Steel Knife

21:53
Get Your Good Afternoon Merchandise Here: https://shop.studio71us.com/collections/hiroyuki-terada So many of you have been asking what knife Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using. Well it's no lie...he has been using the same brand for many years up until 6 months ago. His reason for upgrading is because he needed his knife's edge to be as sharp as possible so when the opportunity came to have an exclusive line made under his strict requirements, Minonokuni was born. The Matsu 1573 is his everyday knife that encompasses the highest grade of carbon steel and holds the edge much longer than a stainless steel knife due to the steel fibers being much tighter, with added tungsten and chrome for a harder steel. As Chef David Holly, owner of Knife Merchant has said in the video, he has on more than 1 occasion, see how top tier Japanese knives come in that are stamped with their logo and ultimately bending the knife and subsequently damaging the entire finished product. This type of thing happens all too often. This similar experience has caused Chef Hiroyuki Terada to also seek The Minonokuni line is as follows: 1: Ume-1538 180mm Deba. SK5 steel used primarily for breaking down whole fish. Also comes in the 210mm size. 2: Takè-1583 180mm Kama-Usuba. #1 white steel: Used for vegetable preparation. Also comes in the 210mm size. 3: Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.
