Solve the Error in invoking target all no orcl of makefile in Oracle DB 12c in Ubuntu 15.04/14.04

08:32
Hello Everyone, In this tutorial, Watch the Vidoe on How to Install & Configure Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition in Ubuntu 14.10 http://youtu.be/XL5M1IrkCa4 Remove this folder: sudo rm -rf /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/lib/stubs We will correct a lot of lib linking. Let’s create the necessary symlinks: sudo su sudo ln -s /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/lib/libclntshcore.so.12.1 /usr/lib/ sudo ln -s /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/lib/libclntsh.so.12.1 /usr/lib/ sudo ln -s /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/lib/libocrutl12.so /usr/lib sudo ldconfig exit Now, we have to edit some shell scripts. Let’s begin with env_rdbms.mk located in sudo gedit /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/rdbms/lib/env_rdbms.mk. # Note the -lons added to the last line of block: RMAN_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(OPT) $(S0MAIN) $(SSKRMED) $(SKRMPT) \ $(LLIBDBTOOLS) $(LLIBCLIENT) $(LLIBSQL) $(LLIBPLSQL) \ $(LLIBSNLSRTL) $(LLIBUNLSRTL) $(LLIBNLSRTL) \ $(LLIBSLAX) $(LLIBPLSQL) $(LIBPLCN) $(LINKTTLIBS) -lons # Note the -Wl,--no-as-needed added after each $(OPT): EXTPROC_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(OPT) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(EXTPMAI) $(PROD_EXTPROC_OPT) \ $(HSALIB_SUBSET1) $(HSALIB_SUBSET2) HSDEPXA_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(OPT) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(HSDEPMAI) $(HSALIB_SUBSET1) $(HS_DEP_DRIVER) $(RDBMSLIB)$(XAD_OFF) \ $(HSALIB_SUBSET2) HSOTS_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(OPT) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(HSOTSMAI) $(HSALIB_SUBSET1) \ $(HS_OTS_DRIVER) $(HS_XASWITCH_ORA) $(RDBMSLIB)$(XAD_OFF) \ $(HSALIB_SUBSET2) # Note the -Wl,--no-as-needed added after each $(S0MAIN): KFOD_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(S0MAIN) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(SSKFODED) $(SKFODPT) $(KFODOBJ) \ $(LIBGENERIC) $(LLIBDBTOOLS) \ $(LIBGENERIC) $(LLIBSAGE) $(LLIBSKGXP) $(LIBCORE) \ $(CSSCLNTLIBS_SERVER) $(LLIBASMCLNT) $(LINKTTLIBS) AMDU_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(S0MAIN) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(SSKFMUED) $(SKFMUPT) \ $(LLIBDBTOOLS) $(LLIBCORE) $(LLIBGENERIC) $(LLIBUNLSRTL) \ $(LLIBNLSRTL) $(LLIBCORE) $(LLIBSAGE) $(LLIBSKGXP) \ $(LLIBNLSRTL) $(CSSCLNTLIBS_SERVER) $(LLIBASMCLNT) $(LINKTTLIBS) KFED_LINKLINE=$(LINK) $(S0MAIN) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(SSKFEDED) $(SKFEDPT) \ $(LLIBDBTOOLS) $(LLIBSAGE) \ $(LLIBSKGXP) $(CSSCLNTLIBS_SERVER) $(LLIBASMCLNT) $(LINKTTLIBS) # Note the -Wl,--no-as-needed added after $(ORACLE_LINKER): ORACLE_LINKLINE=$(ORACLE_LINKER) -Wl,--no-as-needed $(PL_FLAGS) $(ORAMAI) $(SSORED) $(TTCSOI) \ $(ORACLE_KERNEL_LIBS) $(LINKLDLIBS) It’s time to edit ins_rdbms.mk located in sudo gedit /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk # Note the additional linking at the end of each block (-lnnz12, -lagtsh, -lons): $(ORAPWD) : $(ALWAYS) $(ORAPWD_DEPS) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) " - Linking password utility (orapwd)" $(RMF) [email protected] $(ORAPWD_LINKLINE) -lnnz12 $(TG4PWD) : $(ALWAYS) $(TG4PWD_DEPS) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) " - Linking $(TG4DG4)pwd utility" $(RMF) [email protected] $(TG4PWD_LINKLINE) -lnnz12 $(HSOTS) : $(ALWAYS) $(HSOTS_DEPS) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) " - Linking HS OTS agent" $(RMF) [email protected] $(HSOTS_LINKLINE) -lagtsh $(EXTPROC): $(ALWAYS) $(EXTPROC_DEPS) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) "Linking external procedure agent ([email protected])" $(RMF) [email protected] $(EXTPROC_LINKLINE) -lagtsh $(PLSHPROF) : $(ALWAYS) $(PLSHPROF_DEPS) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) " - Linking hierarchical profiler utility (plshprof)" $(RMF) [email protected] $(PLSHPROF_LINKLINE) -lons At last, edit ins_net_server.mk located in sudo gedit /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/network/lib/ins_net_server.mk # Note the additional linking at the end of the block (-lnnz12, -lons): tnslsnr: $(S0NSGL) $(SNSGLP) $(NSGLPNP) $(SILENT)$(ECHO) " - Linking $(TNSLSNR)" $(RMF) [email protected] $(TNSLSNR_LINKLINE) -lnnz12, -lons After all additions, Press the Retry Button......................... For DISPLAY Problem..... Could not execute auto check for display colors using command /usr/X11R6/bin/xdpyinfo Cause: Either the DISPLAY variable is not set, or the user running the installation is not authorized to open an X window. This can occur if you run the installation from a remote terminal, or if you use an su command to change from a user that is authorized to open an X window to a user account that is not authorized to open an X window on the display, such as a lower-privileged user opening windows on the root user's console display. Action: Run the command echo $DISPLAY to ensure that the variable is set to the correct visual or to the correct host. If the display variable is set correctly then either ensure that you are logged in as the user authorized to open an X window, or run the command xhost + to allow any user to open an X window. If you are logged in locally on the server console as root, and used the su - command to change to the Oracle Grid Infrastructure installation owner, then log out of the server, and log back in as the grid installation owner. Linux Basics: How to Sudo in Linux without Password

02:35
Author: Jeremy Druin Twitter: @webpwnized Thank you for watching. Please help! Up vote, subscribe or even support this channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/webpwnized (Click Support). This demo on Ubuntu Linux shows how to configure sudo so the user does not have to type in their password to run sudo commands. The simple demo uses visudo available on most popular Linux distributions so this technique will work on many distributions. Ubuntu is not special in this case. Other Linux distributions where this was tested include Debian Linux and Kali Linux, but should work similarly on RedHat distributions like CentOS. The password feature on sudo is there by default for safety and security reasons, so it is assumed anyone watching this video understands these security concerns and the consequences of not having password protection on the sudo command.

How to Setup Amazon Web Services EC2 Instance with Apache, PHP, MySQL

25:47
How to Setup Amazon Web Services EC2 Instance with Apache, PHP, MySQL Instructions: Go to http://aws.amazon.com/ and create a new account if you do not have an account already. A credit card or debit is required. Sign into your AWS account under console management. Select EC2 and create a new instance. Choose one of the Ubuntu AMIs, and leave everything default. Under Security groups, create a new security group with SSH and HTTP. Name your key and download. Under the terminal, maneuver to the key and chmod 400 to make sure that the permissions are correct. Under windows, you may have to run as administrator the command prompt or cygwin to chmod properly. Or you can use the command that I did, which was: chown :Users testTutorial.pem Then I did: chmod 400 testTutorial.pem Allows only me to read Then: ssh -i testTutorial.pem [email protected](public IP) Once you are on the Ubuntu AMI, you can start to mess around with the packages to install. I recommend the following: Run the command: sudo apt-get install apache2 libapache2-mod-php5 php5 mysql-server php5-mysql You can also get phpadmin if you would like. Remember to restart the apache service: service apache2 restart Then, run a secure installation of mysql: mysql_secure_installation Go put in your browser the public IP. It works! But what if you want to change the index.html Well, go cd ../../var/www In this directory www, you can edit the index.html sudo vim index.html You can change the index.html to anything you want using the editor of your choice. The site changes. How to install Genymotion (Android Virtual Device) - Kali Linux

03:42
In this video I am going demonstrate how to install genymotion in Kali Linux and setup an android virtual device Requirements This section lists the prerequisites for an optimal use of Genymotion. Operating system Genymotion is compatible with the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 7, 8/8.1, 10 (32 or 64 bit); macOS 10.9 or above; Linux Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial Xerus) (64 bit) or above; Linux Debian 9 (Stretch) (64 bit); Linux Fedora 26 (64 bit). Genymotion cannot be run from a virtual machine. Indeed, it needs a direct access to the hardware in order to provide OpenGL acceleration. Running Genymotion from a virtual machine prevents it to directly access the hardware components. Therefore, Genymotion is incompatible when installed from VMWare, Parallels, Hyper-V or VirtualPC. Hardware Genymotion requires that you have the following hardware on your computer: OpenGL 2.0 capable video card, with an up-to-date driver. We recommend the use of one of the following minimum graphic chips: Intel HD Graphics 4000 (2012), Nvidia GeForce 500 Series (2011), ATI Radeon HD 6000 Series (2011); 64 bit CPU, with VT-x or AMD-V capability, enabled in BIOS settings; RAM memory: at least 2GB; Screen resolution greater than 1024 x 768 pixels; Free space on hard disk: at least 100MB. A minimum of 2GB of free space is required to deploy a virtual device. You might need more than 8GB depending on your use of the virtual devices and the applications you have installed. Software To run virtual devices, you must install Oracle VM VirtualBox. Download the recommended version for your operating system: Windows (all versions except Windows 10 Creators Update): 5.0.28 Windows 10 Creators Update: 5.1.26 macOS: 5.0.26 Linux (all versions except Ubuntu 17.04): 5.0.28 Linux Ubuntu 17.04: this version comes with VirtualBox 5.1.22. This version of Ubuntu lacks the ifconfig command that sets up the necessary network interfaces. Install them by running sudo apt install net-tools Web browser For installation, updates and services provided by the Genymotion website, one of the following web browsers is required: Internet Explorer: version 10 or above; Mozilla Firefox: version 3.0 or above; Google Chrome: version 2.0 or above; Safari: version 4.0 or above. Install LAMP on Ubuntu Desktop

01:04:36
When you need a test environment for your web design, this is a great solution. (I can not stress enough that this is not adequate for a production environment, but will work fine for a test environment.) This Ubuntu desktop can host web pages just like a real web server. It runs a complete LAMP stack. LAMP is a common platform on the internet to host websites. LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. In this video, I take an Ubuntu desktop and make it capable of hosting WordPress. It has FTP, a web interface (Webmin), phpMyAdmin, and even has a Samba share to host a shared folder for Windows. I've done this a couple of times on server, but it's a little different on Desktop. (Plus, I had to build a new one when I switched laptops.) So, if you wanted to have a little local web server, but were afraid to go completely command line... Well, this is still pretty command line heavy. But it is a desktop. So, hopefully you find that this video does you some good. You'll find all my commands below! sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt-get install tasksel sudo tasksel sudo apt-get install curl libcurl3 libcurl3-dev php5-curl sudo a2enmod rewrite sudo vim /etc/apache2/sites-available/default "AllowOverride All" for "/var/www" sudo service apache2 restart phpMyAdmin sudo apt-get intstall phpmyadmin sudo apt-get install vsftpd sudo chown www-data:technoblogical /var/www sudo chmod 775 /var/www sudo chmod g+s /var/www sudo chmod u+s /var/www cd /var/www umask 0002 Type "sudo vim /etc/vsftpd.conf" Remove the # before "local_enable=YES" Remove the # before "write_enable=YES" Remove the # before "local_umask=002" Change to "local_umask=0002" sudo /etc/init.d/vsftpd restart sudo restart vsftpd cd ~ wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin_1.650_all.deb sudo dpkg -i webmin_1.650_all.deb sudo apt-get -f upgrade Need to assign static IP ifconfig (Get IP Address) route -n (Gets Gateway) cd /etc/network/ sudo vim interfaces IPv4 auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.250 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 192.168.1.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 gateway 192.168.1.255 dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 IPv6 Directions for IPv6 iface eth0 inet6 static address FE80::1 netmask 16 sudo ifconfig eth0 dn sudo ifconfig etho up sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart sudo ifdown -a sudo ifup -a sudo dhclient -r create a Samba share sudo useradd pstibbons sudo passwd pstibbons sudo smbpasswd pstibbons cd / sudo mkdir realname sudo chown pstibbons:pstibbons realname sudo chmod 770 realname sudo vim /etc/samba/smb.conf workgroup = workgroup enable security = user settings for the share [sharedname] path = /realname available = yes valid users = pstibbons read only = no browsable = yes public = yes writable = yes sudo service smbd restart (You Must Login Locally Once As PStibbons for this to work) http://www.technoblogical.com/linux/ Providing training since last Tuesday http://www.technoblogical.com/ Thanks for watching!
