The classic narrative of the outbreak of World War 1 is that everyone saw it coming and was awaiting it with patriotic fervor. But studying the people that profited most from a war, the bankers, that idea is definitely challenged. » HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOUR CHANNEL? Watch the film In Cinemas and On Demand Now: http://scnl.co/TENCBookNow Fairytale, allegorical 1. Collective ignorance of an obvious fact, or deception, despite undeniable evidence. World-famous British comedian and activist Russell Brand joins forces with acclaimed director Michael Winterbottom on a polemical documentary about the financial crisis and gross inequality we currently face. Starting with the genesis of today’s economic policies, with the arrival of Milton Friedman’s school of thought in Reagan’s leadership and Thatcher’s UK, the film explores how these policies have come to dominate the western world. The rich have got richer; where a CEO of a major British company used to earn 10 times the average wage of his workers, now they earn 200 times. According to Oxfam, the richest 80 people in the world own as much as the poorest 3.5 billion. It would now take 300 years for the average cleaner, cleaning the offices of his senior boss, to earn the same salary taken home by the same boss last year. Milton Friedman once said that every crisis was an opportunity. The financial crisis of 2008 should have been a chance to reform the system for the benefit of everyone. But instead, austerity for everyone throughout Britain and Europe was the price to be paid for supporting the financial sector, with £131 billion spent by UK tax payers to keep the financial system afloat, while $30 trillion in support and subsidies went to Wall Street in the US. Using a mixture of documentary, interviews, archive footage and comedy, Russell Brand takes us from his hometown Grays in Essex, to the heart of London ‘City’ and on to the Big Apple. This daring film will shake up the world by revealing the bewildering truth about how the people at the bottom are paying for the luxuries of those at the top. Things can change…things do change.

Bank of America litigation: BofA Town of Palm Beach VP/Branch Manager Peter Kafouros FULL Video Deposition testimony (3 hours & 36 minutes) given in the matter of Plaintiff TJ Fisher v. Defendant Bank of America Case #50-2011-CA-005579 — a $70 million lawsuit filed in the 15th Circuit Court of Florida, West Palm Beach, Florida. SEE 1-MINUTE EXCERPT! Everyone is interested in what a Bank of America Banker has to say, right? Body langage and facial expressions may tell more than words. Voice matters, too. Come peek inside a Deposition Proceeding in litigation v. Bank of America. See and hear Banker's "I DON'T RECALL" minute of testimony excerpted from this Full Video Deposition testimony @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POVVbLgLsLE. Famed Bank Expert Witness Catherine Ghiglieri has been TJ Fisher's Expert Witness against the Big Four Bank. Banker Kafouros' December 6, 2013 Deposition Transcript and Full Video Tape was filed into Case Courthouse Record and Court Docket, in entirety, and is of Public Record. Therefore, it is the Plaintiff TJ Fisher's First Amendment right to publish the information. Therefore, so to not unlawfully restrain free speech. Florida, the Sunshine State, is a state of transparency. Banker Kafouros was initially sued as a Co-Defendant in this Case but later dismissed, as the corporation, in this case Bank of America, is held liable and responsible for employee actions. The three magic words that witnesses can use: “I don’t recall.” However, the catch is that the failure to recall must be truthful... Truth? In addition to what is and isn’t said with the mouth, the body gives off messages and clues. Plaintiff TJ Fisher's Case v. Defendant Bank of America is evidential of the Bank’s commonplace pattern in the Country’s mortgage and financial meltdown. The Bank became well-known and taken to task for deliberate misconduct, schemes, shell games, active misrepresentations, concealing key fact, misleading and deceptive documentation, serial misdeeds and lawbreaking, extraordinary recklessness and corporate wrongdoing. The legal woes span class-action cases, tort cases, major fines, settlements, multiple government indictments and government lawsuits, including the U.S. Department of Justice, and of course whistleblower and individual lawsuits. Over the years, Bank of America has shelled out billions to settle disputes stemming from the 2008 financial crisis, including the fallout of pooled residential mortgage-backed securities known as RMBS (Mortgage Securitization), and lawsuits filed by those strong enough to battle a Goliath financial institution. Rolling Stone Magazine calls Bank of America "Too Crooked to Fail" and Gangster Bankers "Too Big to Jail." Banker Kafouros' Deposition Transcript was filed into the Case in two parts, on 5/12/2018 and 5/13/2017 Docket Entries #674 and #675. The video was filed into the Court on 5/14/2107, docket entry 679. Banker Kafouros' Deposition Transcript and all Case filings may be publicly accessed online. Additional detailed information and press about TJ Fisher's ongoing epic legal battle against Bank of America is available @ http://tjfisher.net/press.html. This Youtube Channel contains a series of weighty videos videotaped over the years — with vivid up-close and personal details and insight in the TJ Fisher litigation and Court Case against Bank of America. The succession of videos on this page include the hell-broth saga of TJ Fisher (formerly of Palm Beach and the French Quarter of New Orleans) being sued in Baltimore, Maryland by ex-Raven Football Player Michael McCrary for $60 million ($60,000,000) — a scorched-earth consequence and fallout of Bank of America's wrongful and improper banking procedures — whereas Fisher then received an impossible ruinous $33.3 million ($33,300,000) default judgment levied against her...lost all possessions and belongings...and her Palm Beach homestead of 20 years fell into nine years of foreclosure...all entangled w/Bank of America mortgages and TJ FIsher's litigation against Bank of America. During the years of litigation, Bank of America paid Footballer McCrary a $5.7 million ($5,700,000) secret settlement to end his separate lawsuit against the Bank, regarding the same banking transactions at the heart of TJ Fisher's lawsuit against the Bank. Banker Kafouros additional Deposition Transcript of October 6, 2010 is also in the Case Record, Docket entries 346-349. Step inside the Deposition Room, be a fly on the wall. Access is everything.

H. Upmann The Banker Ingot Cigar Review - This 6x54 box pressed stick features a heavy, dusty brown oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and musty damp aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium-full bodied some of a musty leather and wood with a short finish. The first third keeps the same flavors with just the wood coming down a notch. Draw is slightly snug with smoke decreasing a bit. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the mustiness goes away while a tinge of sweetness joins in. Body is down to medium while the draw is still slightly snug, smoke output is decreasing but the burn is very good still holding a solid ash. Ending at 1:15 the draw improved, the body is back to medium-full while flavors go to a deep, bright wood with a slight heat on the finish, giving bourbon notes. A long time friend of the family, Fred, passed away last December. An earlier movie, one of the last time Fred drove the car, can be seen on this link, driving down the exact road a couple of years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DyJgriURTU&feature=relmfu His passion was the restoration of old cars, two examples of which are the '72 Vista Cruiser and '80 Eagle featured on my channel in which he played a part of. This 1955 Buick Century, which Fred had since roughly 1967, was one of his pride and joys. Over the last few years I had the opportunity to take him for drives in the car, please see my channel for some of the drives. His wife is now allowing me to take the car out to exercise it, and we will get the car back in tune so she will be able to drive it safely once the stalling issue is dealt with, the gasoline is sour, and the carburetor was on it's way out when the car was put away last year, now it is really calling for attention, and the generator brushes or the regulator is sticking. Regardless, this old gem took Glenn, Josh and myself for a ride back to a more simple time on the hottest 4th of July on record in the area. The car will be getting a massive cleaning and polishing, and movies showing the engine will be coming soon. The statistics on the car are:322 cubic inch V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor, Dynaflow automatic, powers steering, Tredel-Vac (spelling?) power brakes, radio with front and rear speaker. This was just about the first year for a 4-door hardtop mass produced vehicle. A really nice look with all the windows down, and despite being a mostly black car on a hot day, it was not uncomfortable to drive, a nice thing about the old cars it seems. Normally one leaves the Dynaflow in 'Drive', the 5-element torque converter doing the seamless shifting, but because the car was stalling out, or really trying to, I started out in low many times as the more sharp eyed will notice. This allowed the engine to spin up faster, getting over that hump which I suspect may be the metering rods being sticky, etc. These Buick vehicles of the era were known as 'Banker's Hotrods' for the fact they were very stately vehicles and the demographics which usually purchased them, but when pushed, could easily do 0-60 in 10 seconds, and well over 100 miles per hour, pretty neat for a big car back in the day. The name 'Century' is derived from a term some engineers from General Motors heard being said in England in the 1930's when car enthusiasts on that side of the pond were making reference to breaking the 100 mile per hour mark. Note that the California Highway Patrol used these cars back in the day for their speed and agility. Only the Cadillacs, Oldsmobiles and Lincolns along with the new small-block Chevrolets/Corvettes could give the Buicks a good run for the money back then.

On January 05, 2015, The Banker (UK based financial magazine of the Financial Times group) has declared the award of Central Bank Governor of the Year, Asia-Pacific for 2015 to Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman, in recognition of his work exemplifying how central banks can play essential role in promoting financing of socially and environmentally responsible initiatives without compromising on growth or macroeconomic stability. Ever since assuming office as central bank Governor in 2009 Dr. Atiur has been spearheading initiatives of ingraining in the Bangladesh financial sector a socially and environmentally responsible financing ethos, with multi pronged facilitation and policy support for inclusive, green financing; within safe limits of monetary expansion supporting the output growth and macroeconomic stability goals aspired in the government’s inclusive sustainable development strategy. The approach has contributed notably in upholding domestic demand led growth and stability amid prolonged post global financial crisis slowdown in global output growth; with faster poverty decline sustained by employment and income in SMEs, stable downward edging inflation, and strengthening external sector viability. Dr. Atiur’s inclusive, green financing mainstream initiatives have earned him quite a few other recent notable accolades and awards, like the Indira Gandhi Gold Plaque from India, Gusi International Peace Prize from the Philippines, WHO anti Tobacco award, and membership of an elite small global UNEP advisory panel on designing a sustainable global financial system. The new Central Bank Governor of the Year award 2015 for Asia-Pacific, a vast region that is now the major engine powering global growth, is a strong affirmation of his positive vision driven proactive innovative approach in central banking.

The Great Gildersleeve (1941--1957), initially written by Leonard Lewis Levinson, was one of broadcast history's earliest spin-off programs. Built around Throckmorton Philharmonic Gildersleeve, a character who had been a staple on the classic radio situation comedy Fibber McGee and Molly, first introduced on Oct. 3, 1939, ep. #216. The Great Gildersleeve enjoyed its greatest success in the 1940s. Actor Harold Peary played the character during its transition from the parent show into the spin-off and later in a quartet of feature films released at the height of the show's popularity. On Fibber McGee and Molly, Peary's Gildersleeve was a pompous windbag who became a consistent McGee nemesis. "You're a haa-aa-aa-aard man, McGee!" became a Gildersleeve catchphrase. The character was given several conflicting first names on Fibber McGee and Molly, and on one episode his middle name was revealed as Philharmonic. Gildy admits as much at the end of "Gildersleeve's Diary" on the Fibber McGee and Molly series (Oct. 22, 1940). He soon became so popular that Kraft Foods—looking primarily to promote its Parkay margarine spread — sponsored a new series with Peary's Gildersleeve as the central, slightly softened and slightly befuddled focus of a lively new family. Premiering on August 31, 1941, The Great Gildersleeve moved the title character from the McGees' Wistful Vista to Summerfield, where Gildersleeve now oversaw his late brother-in-law's estate and took on the rearing of his orphaned niece and nephew, Marjorie (originally played by Lurene Tuttle and followed by Louise Erickson and Mary Lee Robb) and Leroy Forester (Walter Tetley). The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor. In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity. Many of the original episodes were co-written by John Whedon, father of Tom Whedon (who wrote The Golden Girls), and grandfather of Deadwood scripter Zack Whedon and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Peary was so effective, and Gildersleeve became so familiar a character, that he was referenced and satirized periodically in other comedies and in a few cartoons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Gildersleeve

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The great financial crisis: A biblical diagnosis Paul Mills Vol 20 Number 1 March 2011 I believe banking institutions pose a greater threat to our liberties than standing armies. Thomas Jefferson Man is born free, and everywhere he is in debt. Paul Mills (with apologies to Jean-Jacques Rousseau) Summary The self-destructive tendency of a debt-based financial system has been highlighted in earlier Cambridge Papers. This lesson is being retaught with a vengeance by the current financial crisis. To diagnose our current plight, this paper expounds the biblical teaching on debt, interest, and finance; explains what is really going on from a relational perspective; and draws applications for the Christian, the church, and society. Introduction The financial crisis working its way through the US and Europe demonstrates once again the extreme danger that debt-based finance poses. The very self-government of supposedly free nations, such as Greece and Ireland, is being suborned. This paper sets out a biblically-based alternative to conventional financial thinking, stressing its relational aspects. This perspective is not radically new. Rather it reapplies the church's traditional stance on debt and interest that was upheld until the seventeenth century. Since then, Christians have elevated human reason above biblical revelation, meaning the church has had no prophetic voice when confronting a debt-induced financial crisis. It is time to break the silence. The great financial crisis of 2007--20?? The world economy is passing through its most serious trial since the Great Depression. Governments are borrowing at 'wartime' levels without fighting a major war; central banks have cut interest rates to their lowest-ever levels and are purchasing vast quantities of assets by 'printing money'; and there is talk of 'currency war' as countries vie with each other to depreciate (mirroring the trade battles of the 1930s). The bailout of banks and imposition of fiscal austerity threatens social order in Europe. The financial crisis may well have triggered the onset of a low-growth period in high-income countries as demographic ageing sets in, following the precedent of Japan's anaemic recovery from its 1980s property bubble. How could such a calamity have occurred when politicians boasted of 'the end of boom and bust'? Aside from humanity's unerring tendency to hubris and God's kindness in periodically puncturing our self-inflation, what occurred was the build-up of a property-backed debt bubble in many countries, its puncturing initially through the US subprime crisis, and the ensuing failures of, and loss of confidence in, financial institutions. The proximate causes of the crisis are likely to be debated for decades to come. Thus far, the 'prime suspects' responsible for the demise of financial stability are a combination of regulatory failings, the decline in mortgage lending standards in the US and elsewhere encouraged by the packaging of mortgages into securities, excessively loose US policy rates in 2003--06, and persistent trade surpluses maintained by China, Japan, and others, often sustained through currency intervention. Once it became apparent that a significant crisis was underway in 2007--08, fiscal and monetary authorities reacted by relaxing bank regulations and accounting rules, injecting massive amounts of cash into money markets, providing banks with capital and guaranteeing their debts, while running huge deficits themselves to prevent the fragile 'house of cards' from collapsing. They were unwilling to risk the failure of even moderately-sized banks (such as Northern Rock and Bear Stearns) to protect creditors and depositors. When loss-sharing was eventually tried with the failure of Lehman Brothers, the global financial system went into cardiac arrest prompting the further bailouts of AIG, the ten largest US banks, General Motors and Chrysler, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank. Hence, the financial system preaches 'free market' principles of loss for failure to others, but avoids having them applied to itself. Despite their industry's very existence depending on taxpayer bailouts and assistance, managers continue to remunerate themselves extremely well, seemingly oblivious to their wider social and moral obligations. Given such hypocrisy and evident injustice, it is no wonder that we are entering a turbulent political period in which even the future of market-based economies is open to question. The biblical alternative for finance There is a better way, but to follow it requires the courage to question the very foundations upon which finance has been built for the past four centuries. Rather than radical innovation, it means going back to how the church understood finance for the first three-quarters of its history. A short introduction to relational biblical ethics Read more here... http://www.jubilee-centre.org/document.php?id=414 All credit goes to Paul Mills

BANKER DEPO highlights. Bank of America Vice-President Banker Peter Kafouros answers questions...or not...re: basic Banking Policies and Procedures. Verbal indicators and body signals often "tell" if someone is truthful or lying. The 12-minute Video excerpts are from the Full Video testimony posted @ https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=ObQq2J3WkuY. Body language, facial expressions, voice stress, reactions, are telling. Come peek inside a Big Bank Deposition. The Bankers of Wall Street! Meet the Banker! In addition to what is and isn’t said with the mouth, the body gives off messages and clues. The Bank of America Town of Palm Beach, Florida VP/Branch Manager Banker Peter Kafouros is questioned under "oath" in matters regarding the $11 million in LLC deposits he took in that sparked a decade of $60 and $70 million lawsuits. The ongoing litigation that has spanned five states and 14 state, federal and appellate courts. Banker Kafouros' testimony was given in the matter of Plaintiff TJ Fisher v. Defendant Bank of America Case #50-2011-CA-005579 — a $70 million lawsuit filed in the 15th Circuit Court of Florida. Truth?
