Wim Hof first caught the attention of scientists when he proved he was able to use meditation to stay submerged in ice for 1 hour and 53 minutes without his core body temperature changing. Since then, he’s climbed Mount Everest in his shorts, resisted altitude sickness, completed a marathon in the Namib Desert with no water and proven under a laboratory setting that he’s able to influence his autonomic nervous system and immune system at will.
Almost everything Wim has done was previously thought to be impossible - but he’s not a freak of nature.
To demonstrate that any human can learn his methods, Wim offered to teach Matt Shea and Daisy-May Hudson to climb a freezing cold mountain in their shorts without getting cold. But when Matt and Daisy signed up for the training, they had no idea that the so-called Iceman was planning to lead them on a psychedelic journey across Europe that circled the chasm between science, spirituality and mystery.

I’m also able to create a adrealine pump with my mind. I actually became able to do it by lucid dreaming. No idea how I did it but i had these nightmares wile lucid dreaming wich made me really conscious of how to do it.
There really isnt anything "superhuman" to what Wim is doing. Wim lost his wife years ago, and what he does to his body is just a way of not thinking about her. He's only "mentally strong" because the pain of thinking about her is much more than sitting in a bath of ice.
The part where the subtitles said [FOREIGN], well, it wasn’t. The producer, off screen, asked, “Are we taking the vodka to the sauna?” before her reporter replied, “You know nothing about Poland.”
It’s all 100% English.
I showered for 13 days with all the cold water turned up and all the hot water turned down... I feel great my skin was starting to clear up well buy for some reason on the 13th day neck started itching and so on it moved to my back, arms, stomach, chest, ass, and my legs!!!! it was an extreme rash throughout my body!! there were bumps all over my body and my face had red spots as well. I had to stop I couldn't sleep at night from all the extreme itching. also my eye swollen up btw(cuz I showered a day after I got the allergy with freezing water still). does anyone know as to why this might have happened to me??? I would greatly appreciate it y'all thanks
Well..People are doing it and thinking for thenselfs. While you still not trying and just believing what people say about hyperventilation. Felling is undertanding.. i swimed in very cold water the distance i could not in normal temperatures one way to a small island right in from of a water fall, that would not let the sun light dry my body, i knew i had to control my breath and do the way back, if i had lost control to hipotermia, no one would be crazy enough to go into that water to help me. Imagine, my idea to test what i've learned doing wim's technic could get me in a emergency rescue situation, only 60 or 70 meters from other people, becouse i was doing something myself and everyone there thought impossible. And i dident do it for show, it was a test, so i could make up my own mind about what its good or not. I only did with people around in case i lost control. Dont use hyperventilation for diving deep under water..but here in our element..it's just breathing more and better than you normaly would need, and thats where the "magic" happen.
I am a very mental person, I have discoverd that I can control various parts of my body and I do genuinely enjoy the cold, I am a very deep thinker and all of that started when I was very deep in my thoughts and it stuck with me even now when I’m as happy as can be and I’m still a very deep thinker
Think positive and trust your mind. The mind and body’s capable of much more than we think it’s all about your mindset. There are physical functions as well but you need to believe you can do it first. Wim Hof gets into his right state of mind through a breathing technique. The breathing technique helps get him going. It produces heat because it speeds up cardio vascular functions. Also releasing the adrenaline once focused to speed blood flow and flow overall. And heats a form of energy so that in turn also diverts some of the heat into energy. I think it’s just the body diverting all of its resources to those key survival functions because you are putting yourself in that fight or flight mode. And to survive you have to pick fight. So, that’s what the body does, with all it’s got. Just using the tools that we have on the jobs that they work for.
I published a short e-book about Wim Hof Method and personally practice it. It became #1 in "New Releases" in Neurology. If someone is interested, you can grab it for only a few dollars! My brother swims year round in Amsterdam - I've done it myself. Once he was stopped by the police after someone reported him, thinking he was insane (walking in winter from his home to the canal in his bathrobe) LOL. It's certainly possible - more power to this idea.
used to do this method when I worked at Trader Joe's in the freezer people thought I was crazy with just a shirt when they had a hoodie a jacket and gloves on I just had a t-shirt on you felt amazing I felt alive and that would be 2 to 4 hours I would come out sweating
Yes the involuntary contractures in the hands and the parasthesias (tingling and numbness) are a result of respiratory alkalosis, and indeed seizures can follow, which we really don't need or want. So as a physician, I would say that perhaps a little slowing of the rate of respiration and an upper limit of 30 breaths, inhaling through the nose and out through the mouth and nose will prevent extreme respiratory alkalosis and its effects. The next time you do continuous physical labor, climb a hill, walk fast, etc, try slower deep breathing during the whole process. You will notice more energy and a sense of relaxation/elation.
So I have been doing this for a month or so now. What I am curious about is when Wim or anyone for that matter sits their arse in a snow bank hyperventilating and holding breath like that..... question is do you still FEEL the cold and you just dont mind it or do you just not feel the cold at all? I am sitting in snow banks, freezing cold baths and showers left and right, doing the 30 seconds breathing with the hold empty and then hold full over and over while I am in the shower or the ice bath and bloody hell if it is not the coldest thing on the planet. I dont know if I am just not doing it right or are you actually supposed to still feel the freezing cold you just dont mind it as much. Any comments? Any chance someone could come up with something equally potent that involves beaches and sand?
I once had some beer and some joints, hanging out with my friends, listening to music - nothing unusual at that time.
when i suddenly felt a rush of adrenalin and my heart started to beat faster without any perceivable trigger whatsoever. i asked my friend to feel my pulse and he was like: dude, whats going on? i say idk man!
it was not uncomfortable but not as chilled as i wanted it to be. so i went into the bedroom to calm me down a bit and meditate..
I was shocked when i realized that in this moment i was able to control my heartbeat! i nearly made it stop but quickly focussed on something else because it was too scary. it literally went from 80 bpm to 20 bpm or something in a matter of 3 seconds. i was able to recreate it a few more times, but obviously did not test the limits. meditated a bit just to enjoy this rare moment and went back to my friends..
what i learned that day is: mind is really over matter (and we can acchieve much more than most of us dares to dream of)!
+this comment was made sure, they helped me to tap into this potential, but its not common that you can do that even with beer and joints or is it? and it definately wasn't just my imagination, because i was not wasted at all and as i said very used to this mixture at that time, pretty clear in my high so to speak.
goes to show that science is lying and has been lying to people for a long time about reality and what we can accomplish, and proves that even science is a religion that is showered in bullshit claiming to be the ones who know what the fuck is going on when they are clueless themselves about a lot of stuff. and those like wim prove everything that science is teaching us since elementary are wrong and to me that's an injustice and disrespect. its not by accident that science is a egomaniac lying cuck its all part of the game and done purposely. the ones in the inner circles that control the world know about this and has know for a long time and they get off on keeping us in the dark about it.most people have been brainwashed and conditioned by their parents who have been indoctrinated previously and conditioned by the snake system and it continues through the school system which are simply just indoctrinating facilities to keep you plugged into delusions while having your delusions reinforced by the fake news mainstream media, and the public controlled limited stagnated frequency of information to keep you plugged in to that stagnated limited frequency.you control the mind of the public then you control their reality.
If youv got a big bottle of something fizzie but theres not much in the bottle and you quickly inhale all the air from the bottle you get the feeling the guy was describing after the breathing excersize in the wooden room
one time i was hiking and i suddenly began getting a very very sore throat and i didnt know what do to, didnt have any water, and so i naturally just began breathing as deeply and heavily as i could and within a couple minutes my throat felt completely fine.
Learning how to draw cartoon animals from the farm is not such a difficult task! Weve grown up surrounded by them! Farm animals are everywhere: In blockbuster movies, childs books, greeting cards. their shapes and images are printed in our minds!
In this section, I will show you how to determine what are the physical uniqueness of each animal and how to work with them. Then, you can practice drawing each cartoon character using basic shapes.
You will have the opportunity to make nice illustrations, practice sketching and cartooning using short easy lessons and complete your creation using a drawing software to create vector art if you want to! Cartoon drawing is really fun once you get into it!
Dont be afraid to try until you get it right. This method is really simple, but requires practice and observation. So, sit back and relax. Learn how to draw animals from the farm and start your journey on a good note!
Lets try s few basic characters to get started! :)
A cute turkey to begin with.
In this first tutorial, you can learn how to draw a fun turkey mostly made from small rectangles and large circular shapes. The posture of the character is really interesting. Not only is it easier to draw than a front version, but its also easier to add some perspective (as we can see with the legs). The fact that we just need to draw one wing is also interesting.
Most of these cartoon animals are not filled with complex textures or digital effects. In this case, the subject is filled with plain colors and only a few basic details (inside the tail) were added.
A nice turtle also from a side view.
